Majin Kuu is the complete opposite of Majin Buu and I honestly find that hilarious. Kid Buu was a complete menace who only knew chaos and destruction, and was literally too powerful to be controlled. Kuu on the other hand is just a chill guy who doesn’t care about fighting, and is actually capable of conversing, and would rather do stuff like singing or shopping than fighting. Bro politely excused himself from the battle and apologized to Arinsu for not being strong enough to beat it, when have we ever seen a Dragon Ball villain do that? He’s a good mixture between a gag villain from OG Dragon Ball and a typical DBZ villain. I also like how his fighting style is a good mixture between Majin Buu and a Saibaman, he’s definitely growing on me.

Like I mentioned previously, Marba had two Saibamen seeds. Kuu obviously wasn’t strong cause Marba told Arinsu that don’t put the first seed 15 centimeters deeper, otherwise while the creation will have more of Buu’s essence, the creation won’t be able to be controlled It’s essentially for controllability it came at the cost of Kuu not being powerful. Arinsu likely will use the second seed and get a stronger creation if she has more of Buu’s essence only it will go on a rampage like Kid Buu cause Marba giving that warning and saying she has one more seed was mentioned for a reason and will come into play later. Personally I feel this is the case and not a transformation Kuu will have like people say cause I feel transformations are going overboard now Plus Kuu since he’s got less of Buu’s essence I don’t think he can do what Buu can do such as his frustrating, insane regeneration, magical powers like turning people into candy, can rip a piece of himself like bubblegum, or is even evil at all either as Kid Buu or any version of Buu. Kuu seems like a nice guy and I kind of feel bad for him given he’s now called as a fraud by everyone that watched this episode and reminds me of Monaka oddly enough, don’t wanna see him die.

When I first saw the design for Majin Kuu I thought "ugh here we go again, banking on nostalgia to save the show", but my opinion changed after this episode. He's a classic subversion of expectation that Akira Toriyama loved to do so much. Also keep in mind Buu was so strong cuz he had lived for centuries causing destruction, plus he had absorbed countless stronger warriors over that time. Majin Kuu was born yesterday, his wild movements are symbolistic of an untrained fighter who knows he's strong but doesn't know how to hone his potential. He reminds me a lot of Gotenks actually.

So when it comes to the differences in buu and kuu I believe it is that buu was literally brought into the demon realm long ago and then ran a havoc in the demon realm he really just started tearing stuff up and didn't have any mind or any sense so I just started attacking with raw power and they had to seal his ass and send them to Earth to get rid of him now kuu has the mind but it doesn't have any experience in fighting literally has no training or anything which is why I think he was basically fighting with his baser beast instincts which is why he was moving around so hilariously but I believe once he gained some experience he will be a problem because remember buu was never able to beat the tamagami either

Majin Kuu seems to have taken the silliness of fat buu and all of Arinsu saliva while leaving the true evil buu essence in the pot. That second seed will suck up all the remaining evil essence and become a true successor to Buu with nothing to control him with since they already used all the spit. Majin Kuu is great for what he is and its a shame people are giving him shit because they want to rush another big bad cool evil dude. I'm loving the goofy almost kid like demeanor of Kuu.
