Offline conversions are huge in measuring many campaigns success. Linking SalesForce to Google Ads gives you true conversion data and allows you to 'feed' the algorithm for higher conversion potential

Can I "feed" the offline conversion action with data from my other campaigns? Or do I have to "fly blind" until the action has enough data to optimize?

this is just a logical question, what I get intrigued about here is that gclid IS created by google, i understand how adding names, emails to google ads from our offline data can help, but what does gclid bring to the table? doesnt google already track who is clicking on an ad and at what time and who converted(signed up)

Because in some cases, not all conversions are tracked So you’ll see differences between google ads conv and your CRM conv … you have to import the data who doesn’t tracked (offline conv to google ads) And google can identify these leads by GCLID Cuz every conv has a GCLID so you can get optimize your ads using google AI for better performance in your next campaigns.

For everyone who is looking for this like I was - and extremely disappointed that it isn't linked above, here is the Google Ads support doc - Published/Updated on Oct 13th, it contains the JS code. We are implementing this via Zoho CRM, as it has an API feedback system like Pardot/Salesforce - just for a much more reasonable price point. support.google.com/google-ads/answer/7012522?hl=en
