Hey everyone, just wanted to say I've really been enjoying reading everyone's discussion about the video, along with a few people's constructive criticism. I know my videos still need a bit of fine-tuning and I'm trying my best to up the level of quality with each output. A lot of you know that I've come from TikTok which is a very different ball game, and that I like to make content alone. There's no team, it's just me. I'm making daily content for several different platforms, writing my books, as well as raising my son while trying to put together these long-form videos for you all to enjoy. They take weeks to put together in the small amount of time I have and mistakes are bound to fall through the cracks. I'll keep working to make sure that future videos are up to the standard you guys deserve, I'm just asking for a little understanding and patience. Long-form analysis/deep-dive is a new type of content for me, and I'm only two months in. I'm still learning as I go. Thank you all so much for the support with this new direction, and I'll have some more content for you all when it's ready. Thanks for everything

For the first one, maybe mention the rest of the autopsy. Half the comments under this video are about how it was an "obvious" murder when the autopsy states that his death was consistent with his risk factor, that no other shoe prints were found in that bloody mess (which should be a huge hint that Church was innocent), and that no external trauma was found on his body. It WAS natural causes. Besides the fact that this is libel against Church, you're also posting misinformation about the case.

@@dmreddragon6 This is likely a result of editing. Medical record reviews are performed by the coroner/ME's office, not law. Typical death scene protocol is this: 1. Cops arrive and secure the scene until ME/coroner's investigator (medicolegal death investigator) arrives. 2. MDI performs a thorough examination of the body and scene and advises whether or not there's any suspicion of a crime (fentanyl OD, homicide, etc). 3. At that point, cops bring in detectives and the crime lab if the scene is going to be processed further. This is where the yellow tape goes up. If it's a natural or accidental death, this will not occur. Reviewing security camera footage is generally in the wheelhouse of the police. Contrary to the shocking presentation, this is exactly what GI bleeds look like - they're dramatic, bloody, and often chaotic because the decedent suddenly loses a lot of blood, goes hypotensive, and can't think straight so they'll try to grab towels and mop up while they're actively geysering blood all over the house. In this case, after the MDI examined the body, they would have discovered no blunt force trauma, ligature marks, stab wounds, gunshot wounds, or other indications of homicidal action. The blood would have been discovered as originating entirely from the nose and mouth, and would appear as a very characteristic coffee-ground color and texture with a unique smell that isn't present in normal blood. This is diagnostic for a GI bleed, which is indeed a natural death. At that point they'd advise the cops that the scene was consistent with a GI bleed, and they'd have no reason (or warrant) to view the Ring camera since there would be no indication of a crime. The Ring camera footage only became apparent long after the scene had been released again. If that was available from the beginning, they'd likely process it as a homicide scene simply as due diligence, which would involve an autopsy, but the final conclusion would be the same. I work in this field and went to grad school for it, and have seen many GI bleeds that look a lot worse than this. Even from the limited photos I saw in this clip, it's exactly what you'd expect to see on a GI bleed scene.

I was thinking the same thing. And not just alcoholics, but people with thrombosis as well. I've seen photos from crime scene cleanups that look just like that, floor to ceiling, gushes of blood. Usually it starts somewhere the person was sitting, travels to a sink, then a toilet/shower once they realize how much blood they're losing. It's terrifying. I'm not saying something nefarious couldn't have happened, but the people saying that it's impossible are completely incorrect.

I'm a deputy coroner with a master's degree in forensic medicine and registry certification by the American Board of Medicolegal Death Investigators, and I see death scenes like this often. I assist in autopsies and perform scene investigations daily, and work on hundreds of dead-people cases every year ranging from homicides to suicides to accidents and natural deaths. I've seen this stuff a lot. To respond to a few comments on your first mentioned case: 1. Police will only put up evidence placards and crime scene tape if it is initially investigated as a crime. Most deaths are not crimes. When someone dies, the first step is to involve the coroner or ME, who makes a (presumably) educated conclusion on the nature of the death and informs the police whether further steps should be taken to process the scene. A medicolegal death investigator goes to the scene, performs a detailed external exam of the body, and if a cause of death can be determined on scene, that's who does it. If there is a fractured skull, gunshot wound, evidence of strangulation, defensive wounds on the hands (virtually present in any homicide), or anything else even remotely indicating a homicidal death, they will be discovered at this step. The MDI is the only person authorized to touch the body. If the scene needs to be processed as a homicide, or if there is even a chance foul play is involved, it needs to be processed at that point. You can always treat things like a homicide first and then walk it back, but you can't do the reverse. In this case, any traumatic injury would lead the MDI to tell the police to cordon the scene and process further, but in this case there were no such injuries present. 2. GI bleeds are actually quite common and do often appear just like this on scene. The dark coffee-ground appearance is a dead giveaway. I most commonly see them as terminal events in alcoholics but sometimes they can happen spontaneously. The substance is indeed blood - you have ruptured a portion of the upper gastrointestinal tract or esophageal varices (the latter most common with alcoholics due to cirrhosis causing portal hypertension), and that blood then gets partially digested, turns black, and is dramatically projectile vomited out the mouth. Because you're losing blood so quickly, you go hypotensive and logic goes out the window. It is actually extremely common for people to smear it around, and grab towels in an attempt to clean this up, because your brain is not functioning properly with the sudden loss of blood. This also explains why the majority of the blood is around the toilet and in the bathroom - someone's first instinct is typically to run to the toilet. These cases are indeed rarely investigated with autopsy, because GI blood has a very distinctive smell, appearance, and texture. 3. The comment about medical history indicates that he either has a history of past GI bleeds or some kind of serious gastrointestinal disorder, or has documented alcoholism. 4. Consider this is a homicide for a moment. The ME will perform a full external examination on the body no matter what - that is required before a decedent is released for cremation in any ME/coroner jurisdiction case regardless of the state. Where is the blood coming from on the body? Blunt force trauma will be apparent, stab wounds will be apparent, gunshot wounds will be apparent, and all of these have characteristic presentations. The presentation of a GI bleed is consistent with very distinctly coffee-ground colored blood emitting from the nose and mouth. If the Ring doorbell person or anybody else committed a homicide, what method could they use in an acute assault that would produce no external wounds but would cause focal damage to the gastrointestinal system? Ultimately, if the evidence on the Ring camera was available at the beginning, the scene should absolutely have been processed as a homicide first simply for the sake of due diligence. In my jurisdiction, we will typically autopsy everyone under the age of 40 even for natural deaths as well, although GI bleeds are typically not autopsied in most jurisdictions simply because little additional useful information results, since the specific type of blood found only occurs only those circumstances. Seeing that very distinctive kind of blood also just gave you the cause of death, and medicolegal autopsies are only performed for that purpose. Families can always have private autopsies performed for medical curiosity or if they disagree with the findings. Just based on the limited information in this video, everything is consistent with what you'd see in a GI bleed, and deaths of this nature occur in every town on earth regularly. They are indeed natural deaths. The ME's office should have prepared the family for what a GI bleed scene looks like and provided them contact info for biohazard cleanup companies, and they might have indeed done this but many families still think "it can't be that bad, we'll clean it ourselves," and then get a surprise. For anybody on the fence about this, review some of the authoritative forensic pathology textbooks (Dolinak, DiMaio, Knight) and look at some of the scene photos for similar cases. They are very consistent.

I constiantly see this point of view from professionals online and Its got me thinking maybe there was no foul play and he walked in there at the wrong time...the "dude please stop" might not be the victim and rather the now accused of the crime trying to help the victim, the scene got to his emotions, breaks down and leaves.
@DylanDekk
@DylanDekk 2 ай бұрын
@@gummo1997x I've pointed this out elsewhere, but that Ring camera footage was not initially available because that's not something police would have access to without a warrant or evidence of a crime. The initial scene investigation gave no evidence of foul play, and even extensive blood is not evidence of trauma, especially when it's clearly coffee-ground emesis and the decedent lacks traumatic injury or defensive wounds. I honestly have no opinion on the Ring footage because I don't know any of the additional context or evidence. Just based purely on the scene photos and ME's investigation - which reveals no traumatic injury - everything is fully consistent with a GI bleed. This is the first I have heard of this case, and at first I knew nothing about his history, but in doing some searching it does appear that he was a long-term severe alcoholic, and this is unfortunately a common terminal event for people who have developed cirrhosis and subsequent portal hypertension.

If you look closely at the images in the Johnny Cashman incident, you'd notice there's something very weird about the blood; it's smeared along the floors and even chunky in the bathroom image that has most of the blood. I feel like it's beyond doubt that Johnny Cashman Jr vomited the blood, but people don't just do that normally. Best case scenario, Steven Church left before John had what was likely a mix of gastrointestinal bleeding and the aftermath of severe alcohol abuse, not noticing any alarming signs. Worst case scenario, Steven Church poisoned John intentionally, for an unknown reason.

@@arandomidiot1593I don’t think he was yelling nearly loud enough. The only loud yell from him was the “help” at the end. It does make a goddamn mess when you puke up blood due to alcoholism like that(I know from experience) but for that to happen the first thing anyone would have mentioned was that he was a raging alcoholic. That’s not a one and done type thing that happens over a long time of drinking a gallon of booze a day. Usually an ulcer in the esophagus or in the stomach lining. More likely is poisoning, beating, or something else(probably stabbing as there could be feces mixed in if he were stabbed repeatedly in the abdomen and the intestines/bowel was cut open). Though there is a lot of blood if someone pukes it up it seems unlikely and that this was a case of the police and medical examiners not doing their jobs properly.

Re: Lang, I wouldn't necessarily rule out suicide. After months of anguish and days of waiting for the police to come, I doubt he had slept much, if it all. He absolutely seemed like the person who would barricade all his doors, and I could understand his reasoning if he'd doused the place with petrol before a confrontation. That would also explain why he would turn off the interior cameras, if he thought the police could access them remotely. Tormenting a distressed person to the point of suicide is still a crime.
@J.DeLaPoer
@J.DeLaPoer Ай бұрын
Ehhhhh. It's actually extremely difficult to stab oneself this way, not only due to the psychological factor (nearly all self-inflicted fatal stabs present with several shallow "hesitation wounds" for this reason, and Lang had none), but because of the sheer amount of force involved. It takes something like 225lbs force to penetrate the sternum where he was supposedly stabbed 3 times. Unless you're extremely strong the physics and leverage of it just don't work out. This is also why suicide by blade was/is historically known as "falling on one's sword" because that's about the only way to reliably do so in this manner. Secondly, I don't buy the official narrative that he was just a mentally ill paranoiac with delusions of persecution and stalking. First, he was a multiple-time whistleblower to the media on police corruption. Second, rather obviously, there are many corrupt police out there and they have been known to silence those who threaten their enterprises or expose them. Many such cases, not to quote Trump. Third, even if he _was_ mentally ill, the stuff he captured on his surveillance is 100% objective reality and not delusion or hallucination: As someone with a cop in my family, the police framing up en masse outside his residence multiple times is a common tactic cops use to intimidate and let people know they're being monitored. Also, while it's arguable that some of the people with dogs etc could ostensibly be civilians despite their odd behavior, the multiple instances of people trying to break into his vehicles, illegally enter his property, try to open his gate, and filming his house with high-tech surveillance cameras/thermal optics that he captured on video are NOT normal. Finally, as to that cleaning van that followed him and was loitering outside his house the day of his death, when researched it was found to be a phony shell company with only a shoddy prefab website, no legit address, no legit owner, no registered business licence or trademark, and only a single review literally posted the day before his death. As to the barricades those likely were his own, yes, but it'd be simple enough for someone to hide in his house, say an attic or crawlspace or basement -- then simply leave after the murder and fire was started by going through a window, the garage, a crawlspace exit, etc. He also had evidence that his house had been entered at least once while he was away; with his locks tampered with (usually easy to tell). So yeah. I call this straight murder-by-cop. There's far too much objective evidence, things that don't add up, and odd coincidences here. The fact he was also a media whistleblower on police corruption pretty much seals it for me -- as does the fact that the police literally just investigated themselves and thus, of course, found no wrongdoing and zero evidence of any plot. Come on.

Personally I saw a lot of totally random, unconnected incidents. A guy just out walking his dog, ...the neighbors were probably trying to have an intervention with him because they were concerned over his erratic behavior...The neighbors having their carpets cleaned and the guys were probably dropping off flyers around the area to drum up business. That camera is not a "thermal imager", it's just a camera on a gimble..I have one myself that I use for filming walking videos when I travel. If you look at the Google map for that address, you'll find there was indeed an Apr, 2015 update, and you can see the shadow of a van with a gimbled camera attached to the top. I bet the team was there prepping the camera to drive that neighborhood that day. Maybe to someone who's imagination (or lack of proper meds) take over his common sense, but I tend to hold to Occam's Razor. The simplest explanation is probably the correct one. Lang was an EXTREMELY tiny fish. There's no reason cops would spend that many resources and risk their entire department on a nobody crank who made a some calls to the local newspaper...a newspaper that nobody was even reading in 2015 in the first place

As for suspicious guy, he definitely should've called 911 even anonymously but he seems like the type to not react like how we would "normally" react to an emergency since he already has burglary records himself. @@takofili3520 Not that it excuses what he did, but with the justice system the way it is, I can see how Church might be afraid that, (already being a felon,) he'd somehow get blamed and tossed back in jail for murder without any questions being asked about what actually happened to the kid. I'd have to imagine it's happened before, and there have been people actually put in jail because some random cop looked at a bloody scene like this and assumed it must be a crime. (Or saw it as a convenient way to get rid of a petty criminal they already have it out for, so they 'lost' the medical reports.) I can also understand how his parents would think it was suspicious, if they didn't know how bad his medical condition and/or possible alcoholism had gotten. Videos on this topic often leave out how overwhelmingly paranoid John was. His neighbors have detailed that he had cameras pointing in every which direction at other homes. 4 years of uploads and the best "evidence" the dude had was someone pointing a camera at his home out of a van. Cops are certainly capable of being corrupt and staging things, but John ain't it. You'll just have to do more digging than what the youtube videos give you, or believe what you want, idc.

I admit the John Lang story is very compelling with all the video evidence considered, but one small detail is not small at all-- carbon monoxide. It's really easy to think that the fire itself attributed to the carbon monoxide, but I don't feel like that's the case. Hypoxic brain injury Can start to occur with very low levels of CO with symptoms that include paranoia, delusions, even hallucinations. I don't know what happened to John Lang, but the mention of CO at high levels makes sense as he (hypothetically) had barricaded himself in. There's no fresh air at that point. Up to that point it may have been low-level CO toxicity because he could go in and out of the house. We can speculate what happened to Jon, but the effects of low-level CO toxicity is not speculation. It's super scary because it's so subtle. I don't think things like this ever happen for one specific reason. I think there are many motivating factors as to why something like this happens. Last few I went to were Claimed Choice, and Stalag 13 at destructive warehouse. If you see an old guy wearing a vest with a Motorhead patch on the front, that's me, hit me up. Anyhow, stay safe . 🤘

With the daycare it's likely a shell business for someone, any business that is really not doing much business doesn't stay open for very long, so there has to be other reasons why it's "open"

Just to add a counter point to Johnny's story: A medical professional was talking about this on the unresolved mysteries subreddit and said this is consistent with a GI bleed (there was also fecal matter found in the apartment). Is the doorbell cam footage not the roommate freaking out at seeing a GI bleed (not something laymen would be familiar with) and running away? Did we confirm it was Johnny saying stop and what the fuck?

The story about the daycare were was honestly fascinating. On one hand, it’s really sweet that a businessman would operate at a loss to keep his mother occupied in her old age. On the other hand, it’s risky doing this when children’s lives are at stake. I remember watching a video on that previously and it’s nice to see resolution.

the police's behavior in the first case immediately makes me think they're responsible for Johnny's death . it feels so obvious that he was a victim of murder that their dismissal feels ridiculous. they at least covered for steven for some reason.

Sometimes the seemingly obvious answer isn't the correct one. Someone else pointed it out and I'd agree with their assessment- the appearance of the blood spatters- the dark color and thick consistency- points more to them being caused by _vomiting blood_ than from an injury.

No comments about the weird bridge in Wales? I've seen videos about the kids play centre already so the secret bridge hideout was new to me and very creepy! I remember Jo Guest was a model in the UK in the 90s and 00s she was popular, how odd that someone took her eyes out on that poster. The bloody condom and other weird types of liquid down there was also very jarring. Anymore on that story? Trying to search about it and nothing comes up.

For the first story, let this be a lesson in why you don't cremate bodies, especially in situations where you aren't 100% sure how they died. If they did a normal burial, then the body could be recovered and inspected for the true cause of death. This was more than likely a murder, and for whatever reason the cops wanted to cover it up and did everything in their power to hide the true reason, even waiting until the body was cremated before getting back to the family.
