I think Thor's Job was to protect earth and other realms and odin was retired that time i guess from conquering realms .. but if thor needed help that time if thanos made his way on earth earlier in avengers I think Odin would summon the bifrost alongside Thor's best friend (heimdel) i don't know the spelling mb to fight thanos if he'd show up earlier because odin still ruling the realms even though his retired of conquering.. I think the avengers that time was way weaker than in infinity war and endgame. In my opinion

I don't think Odin can beat Zeus. Zeus fought against an infinity level strong Ares (because Ares was powered by war of the gods) and still beat him. Zeus was able to create a small island and Amazonians in his weakend state after the war. Odin only conquer realm already conquered from the frost giant so he didn't conquer them by himself he only defeated an established empire, it was more of a one to one conquest. Can the Odin Force create an island or a planet, Zeus is a creator and protector of earth and a single realm that is why we didn't see him conquer other realms. Asgard isn't even up to the size of south America let alone earth.. so surtur isn't that impressive compared to what we heard stepping wolf and the original doomsday doing and stepping Wolf is still no match for superman. Asgardians are just another extra race of aliens and they conquered several planets in the 9 realms that wasn't that well defended same things a stepping wolf did and ares level a pantheon inhibited by gods. Even superman will do it. But just Zeus lightening bolt is as powerful as superman strength

The bolt did not paralyze Darkseid it paralyzed Uxas, he never had the omega sanction and was a much much weaker version of who he is currently, Thor could do shit to a fully powered Darkseid, this is why they had to push Superman as so powerful in ZS JL as to show how story Darkseid is. If a fully powered Thor could do shit to Thanos, he could not touch Darkseid. Darkseid at the very least is equal to Thanos.

Mankind was primitive and weak with none of the advancement or population we have today which he clearly doesn't rule since no one even knew Asgardians were anything more than myths. Vanaheim is still like a medieval earth so on so forth. So when you actually think about it and break everything down Odin hasn't done anything that impressive.

Based on their children it seems Oden is a category above Zeus. If Thor and Hercules fight to the death Hercules wouldn’t stand a chance, I mean what power does he have other than strength and great fighting skills? Thor could throw all kinds of energy at him including his hammer and stay a safe distance if that’s what he wanted to do but what could Hercules do? Zeus based on feats. Even if we count what we've heard about Odin (ie battling the frost giants) his feats still wouldn't be as great as Zeus's. I have to say that one of my only big complaints about the MCU is that (Ragnarok spoilers) Odin never had a single feat, not even in Thor: Ragnarok. We've heard about his battles over the years, but never, not even once, did we see them, not even in a flashback. And now, he's dead, and we'll never get to see him in action.

We've seen very little from either of them so how can you compare. Zues has only sperated the mother boxes and lost/stalemated Aries. (Which is surprising especially since he had the others gods as allies) For Odin we've seen the effectiveness of his king staff
