Good Morning Bo - I was amazed at how easy that Ash splits. Absolutely nothing wrong with a can of soup for a quick meal and refilling the fuel tank. I like the idea of an indoor heated simple bathroom addition to the cabin. However, you will still need to go to the OH to sing. Beautiful scenery there in Upstate NY. Enjoyed the video. Thank you for sharing your family outing with us. Have a great day. Regards, Randy in Arizona.

Splits like butter my friend ! And I do plan on singing more in my videos since it is my other passion in life. The tricky part about it is copyrights. So I will be doing some originals in the future

Nice to see you fixing up the original cabin👍 The vids do not need to be fancy, imo - just keep doing the close-ups of the action (whether it be cooking, splitting wood, or having a fire going) and of course, the foregoing music is key. These two things are what I enjoy. We are off-grid also (since January) and really appreciate the motivation you give us. I think we need to motivate each other in this lifestyle! We could stop right now and go take out a huge mortgage and live like everyone else but there is little satisfaction in that. Lastly, it seems every off-grid channel I watch, the person is splitting wood on camera with ease. Dude! I struggle splitting my wood. It's mostly Oak. What type of wood are you splitting in the video? Thanks for your videos! We truly appreciate them! God bless Brother!
@offgridbo2 жыл бұрын
Hahaha yeah oak is rough, almost all of my firewood is ash. It splits like butter. But I agree a simple life is the most fulfilling. Thank you for the kind words and advice my friend

Hey Bo - very good to see you again, sure makes my day! You did well on the cabin again. Making that extra bathroom sounds like a really good plan. Will you manage to get that done so fast before winter sets in? Nice to see some more of your family. I was not sure if your mum was even still alive, can't remember seeing her on your videos ever before. Cuz Lucas is a funny man, from what we've seen here. Might be a good help if you want to expand the cabin! :-P hahaha The landscape up there is breathtaking and beautiful. You must be the luckiest gut on the planet to live there in the woods! I had hoped to see LaShonda again in this video, but too bad. Hope she is OK! Warm kind greetings to you both and the family - Jason
@offgridbo2 жыл бұрын
Haha my cousin sure is a ham. Well if I will get it done before the snow fly’s is questionable, but to be safe I plan to build the addition before cutting out the cabin wall entrance. And yes the Adirondacks is a beautiful place and truly holds my heart. Sorry to disappoint you bout lashonda it’s a long story that I plan on explaining pretty soon in a video. I’d much rather make it more personal. Have a blessed night my friend
