I just read quite a mean comment down below and I find it hard to understand some people and their attitude to youtubers. I for one feel privileged that you take the time to pick up your camera and share bits of your life with us. I think your vegan/vegetarian approach is the best and healthiest!! Every thing, however little, contributes to reduce the impact of the industry!! When you use that theory with anything else like racism/domestic abuse/murder you will soon realise it doesn't hold up. Everyone is against animal abuse right? Well when you buy animal products you support an industry that abuses, exploits and kills animals. Does it sound OK to support animal abuse in moderation? Support domestic abuse every now and then? Support murder at the weekend? Just something to think about.

Very little that we do on a day to day basis supports domestic abuse, racism etc. Already people boycott racist organisations and in a similar way people boycott organisations that support animal abuse (Canada goose). It takes time to come out of those common practices that we have all grown up with (plastic bags, straws etc.) And I believe that we are all improving. Nobody supports animal abuse, but society is set up with businesses that do, and we are working out how to find alternatives.

@@lem_moon if you buy animal products you support animal abuse. Even if you buy free range, organic etc those animals are exploited and ultimately killed. By buying from these industries you are supporting what happens to those animals. You vote with your money. I am not OK with supporting animal abuse so I do not buy animal products. I know that people don't think they are doing anything wrong because they don't kill the animals but you are paying for the animals to be killed. It's all about supply and demand. As people stop buying animal products there is less demand so less animals will be killed. What would you think of someone who went to the Yulin festival and ate dog meat? Wouldn't you agree that they were supporting animal abuse by doing so? I know the majority of people don't support racism, domestic abuse etc but I was applying the same logic people have about eating dead animals. Either you're against something or your not. You can't pick and choose when you're against it.

"let us all do what we wanna do" ... I am all for that as long as no one suffers in process. Please look into the cruelty involved in the dairy industry so you understand why it doesn't make sense to think like this. I really do commend you being plant based the majority of the time and I appreciate that you understand the difference between being plant based and being vegan. Even if you only eat dairy cheese rarely you are still supporting an industry that takes calves away from their mother's and ultimately kills the cows. Please don't take this as a criticism but more a nudge forward in your journey. It is amazing that you haven't eaten meat for years and you understand the health benefits of eating more plant based, the next step is looking into the ethical side of cutting out animal products. You are obviously a kind, compassionate person and love your sweet little dog you just need to extend that compassion towards all non human animals 😊 I've been at the same stage as you and I understand you will make the connection in your own time and no one can force you, I suggest you do your own research so you can see why we can't support animal agriculture even if it is every once in a while. sending love 😘
