Conan is definitely a good boss. During the 2007 writers strike he paid his production staff out of his own pocket. That goes above and beyond your average boss. That comes from someone who really cares.

He kept his entire staff at full pay during the pandemic. He also offered his Tonight Show staff jobs on his tour that he did after leaving NBC, the Legally Banned from Being Funny on TV tour. Every staffer that spoken about him all say he genuinely nice and supportive.

Chocolate cake, apparently, is the worst thing in the world! Literal quote. 0:29 I think this guy is just trying real hard to be edgy, but totally not getting what being edgy even means. It's just pure cringe to me at this point. Gen-Z trying to adopt the pop-culture of the millennials, to me as a Gen-X-er, is one of the wildest things I've ever seen. Not because they do it in general, because that always happens between generations, but what astonishes me the most is how often this happens nowadays. Gaynor says she doesn’t like birthday cake as if it’s a type of cake. I thought that too, but I’ve been told it can be any kind of cake. Maybe where they live they bake a specific cake for birthdays.
