Officers acting on instinct make a startling discovery. On a flight from Barbados, one passenger has something to hide. And in Gatwick's freight terminal one officer learns to never judge a book by its cover.
In Gatwick and Bristol Airports in England customs agents check baggage and travelers to uphold allowances and prevent illicit activity and substances from entering the UK.

@saldebrowde7823
@saldebrowde7823 2 жыл бұрын
I know! I couldn't swallow any type of pill at all until I was 21. I still struggle with the big ones now! Some of those 'packages' look wider than the human throat even. I've watched a lot of "Banged up Abroad." On that show you see how pressured and terrified the mules usually are by the time they have to actually do it. Most of the time they do initially express interest for the money but once they agree, everything changes. Then the cartel/ gang terrorises them - usually by threatening them and their family, moniters and controls where they go and what they do on their 'holiday' right up until they go through security at the airport and sometimes take their phone from them (again right up until they reach the airport/just before security.) It's crazy how desperate and trapped these people feel a lot of the time. Obviously they should never have even entertained the idea but I do feel so sorry for them too! Often the cartel/gang will tell the mule that customs are in on it and definitely won't bother them or that they have a new technology that the scanners can't detect or other similar lies Oftentimes they'll actually do deliberately obvious concealments on one passenger, making it more likely that another mule will go through while the agents are distracted. So evil. They'll do anything to get the mule hooked in and then once they arrive, they're informed that they already owe the gang/cartel because they took the free flight so there really does seem to be no way out. Ugh. Such a horrific situation.

If you take into account countries where public medical insurance and benefits aren't accessible to everybody, people need to get large amount of money for health care and not losing their homes, it might be the only way for them. Anyone complaining about officers trying to protect and serve the citizens of their country is nuts if they think this type of work is futile. This is all time sensitive for everyone so if a potential passenger/mule is miss treated due to a laundry list of potential markers for this crime.
