Oh my goodness! I was the commenter whose grandmother's name was Flora Jean and it's incredible to me that you chose part of her name for your beautiful baby girl. My grandma Jean was one of the friendliest, kindest women I've ever met. She would talk to anyone and make friends with people all over the world, and then keep in touch with them in a time before social media or even email existed. She cared very deeply about family and kept genealogical records so that she stayed in touch with her family all over the world, she gave very generous gifts, and the best hugs. I've always thought about the name Flora if one day I have a daughter, and I'm happy to share her name with your family.

What a beautiful name! With each of our pregnancies, which we chose not to find out the gender, we had 2 different names, first and middle, for each sex. By having 2 names we were able to look at our precious gifts and give them the names that fit them. Our children’s names are Jillian Estelle, Corey Adam and Jocelyn Elizabeth and their names fit them perfectly, just as your children’s names fit them, and like you, it took us until the day before hospital discharge when we named our babies. God is good!
