I don't know if anyone's mentioned it but the gentleman who wrote this song, Leonardtown, shortly before he passed he heard Pentatonix version of Hallelujah and said it was the best version he had ever heard. I believe that this is what Angels sound like when they sing. And in particular, when they sing this song I really believe the heavens open up so that they are speaking 2 all the angels.

Pentatonix live was crazy. Avi was shaking the floor and they were just having fun together. It was just like seeing 5 best friends having fun. Blends were perfect and harmonies are like I've never heard. They just make it done so easy

Nice reaction. I'm sure you've been told this, but Pentatonix sounds exactly the same live as they do on their studio albums. Exactly. They are amazingly talented. Please reaction to Superfruit's "Deny U" and "One Goodbye from Lonely." Great songs and videos. I agree with Alyssa Bernd. Mitch can rap. He has amazing bars on "Feelin' Myself."

this is absolutely one of my favorite covers by them and videos, it's stunning. you should definitely react to their cover of "silent night", they performed it in a church and had it taped there too, it's beautiful, the acoustics are WOW and it's absolutely breathtaking, i definitely recommend you react to that for a LIVE raw performance in a church. :) love your pentatonix and superfruit reactions!! keep them coming!!

They do keep all their videos quite simple. I love it, helps the vocals shine through I feel, nothing to distract from. And yes Daft Punk was the 'filmed in kitchen recorded in closet won the Grammy' one. 😅 Every individual's talents and vocal abilities in this group is simply amazing. I do recommend wearing headphones to get the full experience though, Avi's bass in particular cannot be missed.😍 May I recommend their cover of Gold or Imagine? And Superfruit's Empire Medley or Feeling Myself. Have a lovely day you two 😊

Was there a TV or radio playing in the background? I could hear a voice, but couldn't make out what he was saying. Anyway, great reaction. To answer the question you asked during the video, yes it was "Daft Punk" which was recorded in a closet and filmed in a kitchen on a $400 budget. I'd love to see your reactions to a whole slew of Pentatonix songs, including (now that Christmas is approaching) the PTX Christmas song catalogue. Some of their Christmas songs have problems with copyright strikes, so stay away from reactions to "Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy" (their second Grammy winning arrangement), "Mary, Did You Know" (which is gorgeous) and "Winter Wonderland"/"Don't Worry, Be Happy" (their mashup with Tori Kelly). Certainly listen to them, but reactions will cause the copyright mafia to come and break your kneecaps, which we don't want (especially since Nikkie just got over a broken foot). But I'd love to see your reactions to many of their other videos, including "Carol of the Bells" and "Angels We Have Heard on High". "Joy to the World", "Little Drummer Boy", "O Come, All Ye Faithful", "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen" and "The First Noel" are oldies but goodies, and they just dropped "Away in a Manger", which is their first Christmas video without Avi. They are also promising a video soon for "Deck the Halls" with Matt Sallee, who will be touring with them as a bassist during their Christmas tour.

I heard someone say they filmed this in the Salt Flats and it was 100 degrees. The makeup people had to keep retouching them because of the heat.
