You raise a good point about having a separate internet radio versus streaming on the phone. I’ve been streaming BBC World service in the mornings through my external speaker input in my shortwave. The problem is when you get a text or a notification you can hear the notification plus it mutes the streaming source. Drives me nuts. This and or the LC90 is the answer.

This radio, which retails at $119, or the $249 lc90 are pricey solutions to a minor issue lol. You can get a small internet radio for sitting on a table for half what this portable costs with better search features and screen. Choyong stuff seems pretty overpriced imo.

Hi Gilles, this isn't a multiband only fm radio and internet. The Choyong LC-90 has a mini version of it with multiband . Have you tried it ?

Hi All, Just got mine today from AliExpress. It has additional cable which is USB-C and female jack. So upon inserting, headphones icon appears, also if I put the charging cable not connected to a power supply, the same icon appears. Noted also that if I put the power cable partialy (not entirely to activate headphones function) the bad FM reception improves a bit, which means the headphones cable is used as an external antenna like mobile phones.

The most important question is how many stations can be stored. There's zero information about it.

I got the radio, first the radio looks good but, It won't stand on flat surface easy to trip, software is bad, lots of buffering, network error, you need to add station manually see urls, overpriced, this is a not $50 worth , better cheaper out there. If you get it for free is worth the review, otherwise don't buy it.
