Being poor is sometimes from personal choices. We all make choices. Of course it would be easier to keep your head above water under a Constitutional sound money system, which is what we should have. Even responsible people are having a hard time because of the inflation of the phony fiat currency system, which was instituted to destroy the middle class.

I'm also homeless in Ohio, since January 2024 I have a vehicle, having a vehicle doesn't mean you have a home, it means you have a vehicle to sleep in. There are shelters, but there are waiting lists to get in, I had to leave a DV shelter after having my flu medication stolen. It's very cold at night now, soon the days will be. I'd love to know what heat source you can use inside a vehicle. I don't stand outside with a sign, I'm able to shower at the ymca and do laundry. I have vasculitis and theres no cure for it. Its painful and the cold weather makes it worse. You can't run a vehicle all night. Its not safe. Finding a place to park where no will mess with you and bang on your window is practically impossible. I am a single female and the state of Ohio only gave me 40 in food stamps. There is no help for folks born in America, they are only helping immigrants. If anyone knows of a heat source you can use through the night please comment!! 🙏

Its everyones fault but his. Homelessness is horrible , i wouldnt wish it on anyone. But dont go preaching when your no saint. Id love to hear what kind of father he was, or how he manages a 5000 calorie diet while being homless. Does he do drugs or drink? Whats his relationship like with family? All he said was i lost a son but didnt even mention his name. No hate. just saying if you spend a lifetime blaming everyone for the problems you caused yourself dont be surprised if you end up like him. Sitting in a $5000 wheelchair the government paid for, eating 3 peoples worth of food on foodstamps when you have diabetes, begging for money . Expecting a 200 million dollar check anyday. Never help someone who hasnt at least tried to help themselves. Its only going to hurt you in the end. These interviews need at least a few hard questions in them. Like i said no hate just pointing out what i see.

States have sovereign immunity statutes that cap what you can recover in a lawsuit as do municipalities. There’s no way he’s going to get $200-mil and there’s no attorney that would tell him they could get that much.
