Sorry you had to witness last fall’s drought at Hocking Hills. Please return in the spring- or come in February for a winter walk and frozen falls, culminating with beans and hot chocolate . Thank you for this visit of our state and your appreciation. You have given us renewed interest in day trips (from Dayton).

I have been to Hocking Hills multiple times. As odd as it sounds if you want to see waterfalls you should go in the spring. And if you’re lucky you should go when it’s raining, everything runs, it’s beautiful.

We hope you get to come back and see it when there is water in the gorge. It was our pleasure having you stay at our house and you are welcome anytime. Hope to see you soon. Now it's on to West Virginia!

Great video! I was just at Clifton Gorge last week. If you like Clifton Gorge and Hocking Hills, another place in Ohio I would recommend is the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Great hiking with leges, gorges, waterfalls, and great food in the area too! It's also in between Akron and Cleveland so you can visit those cities while you're in the area.

Hello there, thanks for taking time to film my hometown, saw the building downtown where I worked before retiring; sorry about the falls; it's harvest time and the farmers don't want rain on their crops; maybe come back in the spring time; mid-April is absolutely BEAUTIFUL in Columbus. Safe travels.

Awesome video Robert - Thanks so much for the walk down memory lane. Lived in Columbus 19 years and worked in some of the buildings you visited downtown but so much has changed of the skyline. Visited Hocking Hills many times and while fall is prettiest for color not so much for waterfalls when spring is best. Weekends I think are crazy now everywhere as people want to get out into nature. Wishing you safe travels and love your videos.

Loved the tour of Hocking Hills State Park. I grew up in Toledo OH and during college when nearly everyone else went to Florida for Spring Break some of us working class college students headed to rented cabins in the Hocking Hills area for our idea of a getaway. It must have been the dry season at Hocking Hills. You know Robert we have that as well here in Florida. I used to work in downtown Columbus, Ohio at the AEP building beside the river. We used to eat lunch in the cafeteria and then walk around downtown afterwards since we had an hour for lunch.
