⚡ / 🔥 😱 🔥 That was the sixteen year old Su. Her voice has only improved in the six years since those two Budokan concerts. She has a unique penetrating clarity to her voice that makes it perfect for metal. Without having to boost her volume she can still be heard through the heavy drums, bass and guitars. Rondo is easily in my top ten BABYMETAL songs. Su performed three solos that night. She did 'No Rain, No Rainbow', followed by 'Akatsuki' earlier in the set. Yui and Moa (as Black BABYMETAL) performed two songs without Su. And there were ten songs with all three members on stage. That Black Night Budokan concert from March, 2014 is still one of my favorite BABYMETAL shows of all time.

@@OhrionReacts So, it's kind of a 4-in-1 experience. You get BabyMetal, Su solo, Black BabyMetal, and the Kami Band. Quite a deal, isn't it? :D Black BabyMetal hasn't been a thing recently since Yui officially left BabyMetal, but there are some instances of Moa performing Black BabyMetal songs, and the audience supporting her by singing Yui's lines. Just goes to show what a great crowd BabyMetal attracts. After all, we are The One.

Fun fact, the work title for this song was "Kill the Alice" It's Alice in Wonderland turned into a nightmare, a dream that you can't wake up from. The band members are all playing solos to summon Su-metal from the depths. Did you notice the drawing on the stage? It's an occult circle. The music... Take Meshuggah's Bleed and play it harder. Add Su-metal's voice to make it even harder. Add a piano playing classic waltz tabs for a twist. You end up with this.

@@OhrionReacts - At the Budokan show that video was shot they also did that intro before 'Catch Me If You Can'. Twice in the same show. People who watch a couple Babymetal videos and assume that they don't showcase the musicians too are wrong. I love Catch Me If You Can. It's both really heavy and really cute. It's the essence of Babymetal to me. Or at least Babymetal 2010-2018. Now they're in their 20's and it's serious business :)

Yoooo!! You finally reacted on Rondo! This is one of my top Babymetal songs. This is also their darkest song lyrically. Also to give answers to your questions, Rondo of nightmare is a Babymetal White performance, which is basically a Suzuka solo performance. There's also a Babymetal Black which is a performance by the 2 other members, Moa and Yui (yui is out of the band now). My favorite song actually is called Akatsuki, which is another Suzuka solo. I know it isn't what you're used to, but take it from me (a person who has similar musical tastes), this band is one you really wanna get into. Their music collectively speaking is just epic. There's something for everyone in their discography. A song with the closest thing to a Blegh is Megitsune (has a breeee). I think you'll really dig that song both instrumentally and vocally. As for this song, it's a solo song with only Su in it. There's a few of those, and there's also other songs with only Moa and Yui. It keeps things fresh imo and makes listening to their albums much more interesting. Side note: I've never heard you say "fuck" so many times in a video 😂😂😂

@@OhrionReacts - If you like to hear different stuff from Babymetal there is all kinds of songs. The first i would recommend is BxMxC. It has Su rapping and it's actually really good. There is no music video and no pro shot live version but it's worth reacting to a fan cam. kzbin.info/www/bejne/pp_cppqwaqmbqKM The other song i would recommend for different reasons is Kagerou. There is a pretty good live version with the American Kami band doing a different instrumental intro. It sounds better than some pro shot versions of the song and none of those are able to be shown on youtube.

You should react to No Rain ,No Rainbow from 2016 at the Tokyo Dome. Or Shine from the LA Forum 2019. True shows of her insanely beautiful gift from God voice. I saw them in 2017 ,Suzukas freestyle in the song Karate was 20 seconds I will never forget, she went higher in pitch instead of lower like most,I could see tears on people face along with my own after that. I saw Evenescence there in 2003 . Never thought I would see someone sing like Amy.....The power in Suzuka's voice is astonishing.

I don't think people know how technically hard this song is to play, not counting the intro, which is in itself very showing how good the band is. This is a 3/4 timed metal waltz. The beat pattern and timing alone is done to superb quality. Yes, to be transparent some of thr vocal effects were done in post, but all of the instrumental parts were never touched.

First of, I'm legitimately entertained by your reactions, I love baby metal myself and it's always fun to watch people doing their first reaction videos as you can tell how it instantly places them outside of their usual elements. Secondly, how have you done so many reactions to Baby Metal but somehow not done their 1997 Headbanger live show yet, out of all reaction videos i've seen from various youtubers it's always headbanger that gives me the biggest smirk on my face. this is one of their more technically difficult songs due to the timing changes. Su gets a few solos, and the other two also have a few without Su. All three are accomplished singers, but Su likely has the most powerful voice in metal today. Metal Galaxy pretty much showed one thing - the song writers for this band have yet to really master her voice.

If you haven't already you should definitely check out Ningen Isu! They're an amazing japanese heavy metal band that's been operating since 1987. One of their largest influencers for their music is Black Sabbath. A good intro song is also their most popular one; Heartless Scat.
