OLD FORD TW25 SHOWS YOUNG NH T7 HOW TO PLOUGH!

Can the old Ford TW25 keep up with the much younger New Holland T7 210? The T7 has a slight edge with horsepower, tyre's and of course a powershift gearbox.

TW all day long for me George. You mate seems a bit heavy handed with the plough, needs to turn the speed of the drop down a little, his plough was banging down on the ground. Good video tho George 👍

Exactly my thinking too. I’d be raging if that was my kv plough, biggest crime committed was turning the tractor before the plough is fully up out of the ground that’s sure way to end up cracking the headstock along with have the drop rate too fast and slamming the plough down. T7 was going to fast for ploughing a ley she was almost bunny hopping going along in the scrape. Not cool. T dub was showing it up! 😜👍

Love a bit of tandem ploughing, reminds me of me in an 8210 series 2 with 5 furrow dowdeswell and my cousin in a MF699 with 4 furrows! Blew him into the weeds every time!!

Best sound track in the field to 👍 I'm only using a 4 behind my 8730 😳🤣 once Iv fixed the powershift 😂🤣. The tw certainly managed to handle the ploughing well. Nice work on the vid. Stay safe 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

The later 30 series powershift gearboxes had a massive jump from 9-10. Going up was possible if going was good but down you’d end up with your teeth chewing the steering wheel in most conditions. We went from a Tw25 to an 8630. Both great tractors for the time!!

Fendt isnt any better, the transmission is also one of teh least effective on the market in terms of puttin the power down on the ground. Best engine on the market atm also FPT

@@zzirSnipzz1 your wrong buddy they are the best at it.. your sore because you can't beat them, I don't know what tractor you drive (if you have any) but fendt is number 1 and good at their job not too mind resale value.. my advice.. get a real tractor like a fendt..

@@6900pilot Go to John McElderry Motors & Tractors LTD and you will see them in getting repaired, i drove 415, what a gutless machine compared to the Tm's, 125 i drove would eat it and a much better engine in the TM. I am now driving a 268 hp 7040 autocommand and the gearbox puts the power down much better than the fendt and the best engine on the market even better is no Ad-blue. Even spoke to a guy recently and he complained about the fendt gearbox for pulling they used a massey with dyna 6 said it pulls much better on hills just what he said, we will agree to disagree and with Dynamic command might i add they are even getting better

Probably has ad-blue as i would argue the 6.7 litre FPT is one of the best grunty sounding engines, i used a 7040 autocommand great note under load, sounds even better with a powershift up through the gears
