You can see how much Sherpas dad loves him. To non animal lovers it’s a difficult concept to understand, but they are missing out so much, love friendship company and fun. Yes they don’t live as long as humans and that’s the sorrow we all have to face but give a dog a great life or cat etc ( I had my cat for 21 yrs) and the love they give back is immersible

One thing i will mention that ive just noticed and i love, i love how Sherpa waits until you fully finish speaking a lot of the time before he speaks, you can see he is getting ready to speak with a intake of breath then when you finish speaking then he speaks, i swear he's more polite than most humans haha

My Alaskan Malamutes used to LOVE to swim. Fortunately, we lived in the Puget Sound area of Washington State and had plenty of both fresh and saltwater beaches to go to. It's strange hearing Sherpa referred to as old and I know he is for his breed but my first 130 pound male purebred Malamute lived to 16 years! He outlived his mate and all but one of his 13 offspring.

Sherpa's not that old! I had a male Husky I lost in 2012 named K'eyush He was huge (tall and long) by Husky standards and lived to be 16. Fed him a homemade diet. I miss him everyday. I have a new Husky girl named Una which is 'remember' in Hopi Indian in memory of my boy K'eyush! She is an awesome girl and I love her so much. I love Sherpa and all his adventures! He reminds so much of K'eyush. Huskies Rock!! Hugs from Canada!

After a shattered ankle in the Army, hydro therapy was an awesome way to rebuild my joint, for Sherp it's gotta be a real treat once he gets the hang of it. He's a proper trooper, took to the water like a duck. He deserves ALL the treats, lol.

Not quite his first swim if you consider Sherpagator! But 1st time at hydrotherapy, oh you took the words out of my mouth 0.53, "I like water?" He's wearing the vest and still happy! Not like with a harness! He looks a little befuddled but even more adorable in the pool. What a lovely lady, a cute gorgeous pup, and you hoodad just took the words out of my mouth again! 2.07, with the "Aww, look at him", with all of the heartfelt emotion of a proud Dad! Overwhelmed with love for him so dont try and deny him! I knoe that tone from seeing many dads giving newborns their first bath...or simply seeing them! And I dont know why, but whenever a dog shakes it's floof/ or shortfur), it always makes me giggle. Even the sound! But yes, I was going to write, gorgeius day, gorgeous place to be and a gorgeous dog! I spose I better include you too. And definitely, Sarah! Sherp did so well, you could see how hard he was concentrating on treading water, and I am pretty sure anyone watching has a melting heart with just how adorable he looked. And he swims better than I ever did! Almost got orange ribbon at school, but my dive was a little off! Of course, I was Sherpie's age in hooman years- eleven! Well done Sherpa, for being so good, and cute, and actually doing the hard work and looking very graceful! I need to find a pool somewhere, as the local physio part had to be closed! Can you imagine Key and Sherp, both going for hydro at the same time? Double cuteness! Definitely, getting even more love, and hugs, to all of you, but extra kisses for Sherpa! 🥰😍😍😘😘😘😘😘😘💙💛💙💙💙✋👊👊🦇✋🐾❣
