We all love feel-good videos with quick rescues and cute seals, but now and then, we have to face the harsh and brutal reality of this dire situation. It’s never a good sight to see an animal suffering the consequences of someone else’s negligence. With the help of seawater, we have had some remarkable recoveries before, and with this seal still being strong despite his situation, we have high hopes for his recovery.

In a situation like this, all you can rely on is the fact that they're tough little creatures, built to withstand the deep ocean and all the challenges that lie within it. Without the constant irritation of the rope, the seal ought to have a good chance of healing properly.
