Watching Serj do those screams give me goosebumps. It's a shame his singing voice became more nasally after system went on hiatus. And it's incredible when the early 2000s Serj comes out. Probably hurts for him doing it now but damn it sounds incredible.

Tbh it started changing moreso in the latter part of the toxicity tour by 2005 he basically had that “nasally” tone, I don’t hate It tbh I def agree it’s not super fitting for certain older songs but it does work with well with a good chunk of it. I’d say serj in the last 3 years has actually been getting less nasal compared around 2014-16

Yeah, 2013 was the year when I had big hopes they'll finally got together and make a new System album. Serj started to do those screams/harsh vocals again with less nose-singing techinque. I thougth in myself, "this could be Serj's matured finest vine voice" But I was wrong... Aaand that was also the the year when I discovered Ghost. They healed my wounds.
