I'm a main PC player, but I love my consoles. They're two different moods, honestly. PC's feel much more technical, you sit at a PC at a desk, use a full keyboard and mouse to game. Consoles? You grab your controller, turn it on, and your games are there. They're MADE for games. PC's are made for Utility, WITH games alongside it.

For me it's the settings. Console games I just pump in and off I go. PC games require tweaking settings both in the game and in your pc's settings, and I absolutely hate steam and Epic's stores.

I absolutely agree. Ever since I bought a gaming PC I loved PC gaming. However I do have a Ps4 and Xbox one (mostly for exclusives) and i love playing on them. In fact, a lot of games I had on my Xbox 360 I have on my PC now, like Prototype 2.

Koko Blu I'm guessing you don't like the first, the first game is a game I want to like because in my opinion it has the best soundtrack and the graphs are good but the game isn't very fun, no continues, super cheap deaths, the game always stopping you every five second, nearly unplayable difficulty. As bizarre as it is (I definitely agree with you there), that's part of the reason I love it. I've grown up with this series so I'm kinda biased. However, I absolutely love the ridiculously convoluted plot, it gives me something to think about. The concept itself along with the plot create some interesting new additions to the story and the overall universe that most people usually can't predict, giving the players a lot of twists or unexpected pleasant surprises. The gameplay of a typical JRPG while you run through Disney and Final Fantasy-esque worlds is something that seems like it wouldn't work but is spectacular and well-executed. In my opinion, Kingdom Hearts is one of the weirdest but one of the best crossovers ever made. I don't regret growing up with this series and never will! ❤

***** Software has pretty much always had system exclusives. Be it games, editing programs, or mobile apps. I agree with you that It sucks for the consumer. It's not as good for the developers either, since exclusivity decreases sales. Of course, deals are made to reduce the financial loss but, it still sucks for the saturation of their product. And it generates a fowl byproduct known as the console wars.

But indeed, his rebranded stuff is more of a refinement of his old style than a reinvention like he seems to think, although I do agree that his videos a couple years before the rebranding were getting a bit lethargic. These slightly older "seasons" on the other hand still hold up reasonably well.

I really like Sonic the Hedgehog as a character. He may be a cocky jerk, but he's a cocky jerk with a heart of gold. He doesn't play by anyone's rules but his own. And even though the stories are cheesy today. The messages the stories were trying to tell are very lovely and heartwarming(pre 2010's). And I think most of the characters have unique and amazing personalities. It's too bad Sega hasn't used them to their fullest potential recently.

Agreed. As a Competitive Pokemon player, I am extremely disappointed with Pokemon Go. Firstly the obvious.. The "Battling". because how the fuck does constantly tapping on the screen can be fun... Second. The way you level pokemon... Candy.. REALLY... Why can't I bond with pokemon like in Pokemon Amie and then level them up that way.. Or how about when I BATTLE... trainers or pokemon the old fashion way.. Candy is just.. ugh.. really.. Third.. The game feels... unfinished.. No way to trade.. The awful launch with the servers constantly crashing.. and of course missing features... Fourth... The fans... oh god the fans... They are so fucking obnoxious... Among non-casual gamers it's considered an awful story with awful twists, awful characters, awful, and even detestable, tropes, and awful storytelling. I agree with all those people. It's bloody awful When you seriously have your main female lead get in a life-threatening fight, then talks to the main lead about him maybe killing someone, the same guy that might be a serial killer, THEN SHE TRIES TO KISS HIM, you know you have a fucked up story and that the writer is shit. I agree. I loved it. Looking back there are some plot holes, along with some cheesy dialogue. But all in all, it's a very great story. The acting can be a little horrible at times as well, but it can be overlooked.

Christian Harford I think I can answer this one: no need for anti-aliasing (a lot of options, some not that good, others too expensive and time consuming) and edges looks crispy as it can get. Also, a good majority of old games on PC looks incredibly beautiful in 4K, even on emulators (God of War 2 in 4k in insane, search it). But yeh, I can understand why you don't care about it. It's a very specific change.

My unpopular opinions: Mario Kart Wii is NOT the worst one. That would be Super Circuit. Sonic and the Black Knight, Riders: Zero Gravity, and Heroes are good games. Sonic Labyrinth is even worse than 06 or Boom RoL. My favorite Zelda game is Minish Cap. Johto was the worst Pokémon region (before you attack, HGSS are some of the series best games) Call of Duty is fucking boring. Brawl was better than Melee. I think Sonic 1 was not a good game. Sonic 2 and 3&K were vastly superior. Local Multiplayer is better than Online.

The cities were bland and simplistic in design, the music for said cities were forgettable, there was little to nothing that made any part of the game feel important aside from the Lighthouse, the secret Team Rocket HQs, and TR taking over the radio tower, overall the region was just Kanto 2.0. If I wanted interesting locals and memorable music, I'll pick up and play Gen 3, 4, or even 5.

I more or less got what I expected after seeing the way it was marketed, so... no, it did not disappoint me. It *did* annoy me with some recurring glitches it had, though. Those are not defendable. A lot of the 1st gen mons like Jynx, Mr. Mime, Exeggcute, Electrode, Porygon, Weepinbel, Dugtrio, Lickitung, Seaking, and Tangela are just as poorly designed as the worst 5th and 6th gen mons. Also, there are a bunch of mons who are just normal animals like Krabby, Seel, Butterfree, Raticate, Venomoth, Zubat, and Ekans which is pretty lame. Kanto is also a very boring and bland region to explore. 3. Sports games are fun, if you don't buy them every year like some idiotic people do. I usually buy sports games every 3-4 years. 4. I don't like MMOs or MOBAs. 5. I like playing GTA games for the story and missions, not the free roam. 6. Mortal Kombat's fatalities are stupid and gimmicky. 7. Some of mine: 1. Skyward Sword is one of my favorite games of all time. 2. I love The Subspace Emissary, and I have no problem with The Great Maze. 3. I just don't like fighting games period, aside from Smash Bros. I don't find them interesting or fun. 4. I don't like RPGs. I want to play them for their story, but every time I try, I find myself quitting because the gameplay and mechanics just aren't enjoyable for me. 5. (Probably the most controversial:) I hate heavily story-driven games where you can majorly affect the story. I want to experience a pre-written narrative with well-designed characters, not a fucking Choose Your Own Adventure book. There are instances where I enjoy a game where you pave your own story, and nonlinearity can often be fantastic, but most incorporations of butterfly effect are a huge turn-off for me.

I'd say it's really not that unusual to dislike some genres of games. For some games that are popular, they are loved also for being good in their genre (Final Fantasy to RPGs, street fighter to fighting games), and liking every genre of games is probably uncommon. It would just mean it would make sense to not like its games, although there can still be exceptions. And the contradictory one is mainstream FPS games (think call of duty): really popular to like AND dislike!

Just curious passerby here, but what do you mean when you say they were tying to hard to make the characters likable? I felt tat the characters were often tropy and did try to appeal to certain groups. Howver i never felt like I was force to like the characters, in fact i straight up hated some of the main cast as i played through it but i could still appreciate the roles they played

I don't fault them for trying to diversify characters and trying to be inclusive, since that just reeks of Gamergatia and just no thank you. It really came down to gameplay, although Arwingmaster is on to something, though I had the same problem with Breaking Bad and just about anything on the CW.

Unpopular Opinion: I don't want Super Mario Galaxy 3 to be a thing. I feel two games is enough & I rather see Nintendo come up with new ideas for each 3D Mario installments instead of constantly relying on sequels of past games. Also doesn't help that Galaxy 2 felt way too similar to the first game, despite the new power ups, yoshi & a few new gameplay mechanics, so making a third game would just be redundant. Mario Odyssey all the way.

My unpopular gaming opinions: 1) I dislike shooting games They just don't prove anything to me, I never feel like fighting people or killing zombies. I don't feel anything for the characters and I just don't get the mechanics. 2) Undertale is overrated Don't get me started. I'm tired of this game. And I've played it. 3) Nintendo is cool Nintendo is the system I grew up with, and I've tried every system. But I've always come back to Nintendo. I think that's it besides #1 which is what I completely agree with. Console is better than PC to play with.

Tryo The Pyro 3. I hate games that are too difficult. It really ruins the experience for me. Yes I love difficulty, and getting through a challenge can be satisfying. But I would rather have a choice in difficulty than have a ball-crushingly hard game that is only hard for the sake of being hard. 6. WAAAY too many people are saying Fallout 4 sucked and it was a bad game. But it wasn't, at all. Yes, the dialogue was a major step down from other Bethesda games. Yes, it's still using the same shitty and broken engine every single other bethesda game of the current millennium. But it still is a great game. It had a good story, great visuals, and awesome gameplay. And what if you were just disappointed with the game? that has no excuse either. You shouldn't overhype a game, it's unhealthy and will only lead to a negative reaction. When people say this game is "bad", they most likely don't know what a truley "bad" game is.

I'm not sure how popular or unpopular this is but to me the wii had the best home screen. I love that you could drag and drop icons wherever you wanted them to sort the home screen in a way that made sense to you. I also like the animations that play in an attempt to entice you towards it. It felt like you had your whole library on display for easy access.

There are upsides and downsides to doing brain surgery with a chainsaw over a scalpel but one is significantly more likely to leave you a bloody mutilated corpse.

My unpopular opinions: Skyrim is very overrated and not even close to the best game ever or even the best game Bethesda has done. Sonic Unleashed, while plagued with some problems, was actually pretty fun for how ridiculous the story was. I have tried so many times, but i just can't get into both the Resident Evil franchise and the Metal Gear Solid francise. Only RE game i enjoyed was 7 Biohazard. Super Mario Sunshine is the best Mario game since Mario Bros 3. ( haven't played Galaxy yet so) AC 2 is NOT the best Assassin's Creed. Brotherhood is. It felt a lot more open and wider in scope than II. Consoles are easier to play than pc.

Unpopular opinion - Undertale to me, maybe great but it's not perfect. Just because the game has a interesting idea, it shouldn't be praised like the second coming of Christ. The soundtrack is amazing but the gameplay can sometimes drag for too long (some sort of sprint button was needed) And I'm not gonna mention the fanbase because a game shouldn't be judged by its extremist fans
