Love your videos and enthusiasm. I recently purchased a MINT model 52 from 1931 that looks like the day it was made. Can't wait to try it out. Has a same year weaver scope that looks a little underwhelming.

I have over 20 boxes of UM1 left. I found it to be the most consistent ammo over a wide range of rifles. Wish Federal would make it again.

And it is about time you stretched something out to 100 yds! Good for you. The other day my Brno had 4 in .35 "and the last shot went 1 "wide with Eley. But at times it has shot that with Fed old blue, Fed black 1100 round box. Keep'em coming, please.

What a super video! Vintage all the way although that eley isn't even close to UM1 ammo. I remember that from the mid nineties it was the most accurate ammo ever and I wish I would have bought a train load of it. WHY doesn't anyone in the USA make match ammo like that again I know I would buy it instead of the European stuff. Great video

That was a neat comparison shoot, so thanks. You prompted me to check my stash of old ammo and found I have a couple of bricks of Federal Gold Medal "Target" that I bought decades ago. I will have to see how it does from my 53E, but not until the weather warms. You are more dedicated than I am.😉

I have a Win 52D with an old Untertel scope! It's a ringer! My second best is my Sako Finnfire then my Cooper is 3rd. Funny thing is, I have a CZ that will keep up with all three above! Great video

Good job marine. I sure do wish that they still actually made the fed ultra match. The later ones after the buy out wasn't worth a darn. I don't shoot my 22's at 100 yards because it will strain the barrel.. 😃 When you come down, leave that ultra match at home or it's cheating.
