In my extensive experience as a concert goer (over a thousand shows, big and small), I've had two drummers stand out in my mind as the absolute best, Terry Bozzio, and Ian Paice. Yoyoka makes three! In my view, she is already at least the equal of anyone I've seen. At her age, not a single one of these guys could match her skill, speed, and power. I'm quite certain that any honest mind would agree. At this age, she is beyond any superlatives used to describe her ability and presentation. She is truly other worldly!

Ian Paice is a great guy and thanks to Old Mr B for this. I am like you in that when I watch Yoyoka or the other youngsters and young ones like Band Maid I end up bragging about them and their work ethic and drive. Yeah, he seems such a lovely man, and so humble to boot.. So great he saw Yoyoka playing the tune and that he got the reaction up so quickly. Hope this helps her get the recognition and support she needs and deserves in order to fully actualise her potential as a professional musician. Personally, I hope, in her own good time, that she adds some prog-rock/metal influence to her range skills, to include those like Gavin Harrison, Mike Portnoy and Danny Carey's independence too..

Hi there Old Mr B. I often watch his channel and when I saw yesterday that he reacted I had to watch it so I already new his reaction. He's been quite open to people sending in drummers. He did do one for this very song a few months back and he picked out a female drummer Sina who was seventeen when she recorded the video. I think she has her own channel. He also did a reaction to a female Deep Purple cover band from Austria called 'Strange Kind Of Woman' and he was impressed and enjoyed both performances. Ian Paice has always been one of my favorite drummers but I had no idea he's such a great human being. Now I know. About Yoyoka: sometimes I think her attitude is contagious and that we are all a bit influenced by her behaviour, her energy, her respect, her will to share with everybody. Isn't it great?

Doc Loco - I think you're right - Yoyoka is not only a fabulous drummer, but she IS a positive and uplifting influence on all of us. I feel like we're all now members of the Yoyoka community, and it's really an amazing thing to be a part of. (I'm gonna make a Yoyoka t-shirt for myself soon. Not yet sure of the design...)

Even back in the day when all the nonsense was going on within Deep Purple Ian and Jon were the ones that stayed humble and didn't let their egos get out of control despite the fact that imo they were the two with the most talent (probably Glen as well but he wasn't in the band as much as those two were)

My fisrt album was deep purple machine head .I won it in a bet with my uncle. If I win the race I get the album if I lose I eat two worms . Well their were no worms eaten that day. It's amazing how the internet and YT can bring people together who would never have had the chance to meet irl. If Yoyo can learn from these masters she can one day become a legend herself. Lol when I first saw her play her Jon Bonham cover I thought thats cool, now work on those hands and take on some Ian Paice, and she has done it, I hope she incorporates some of his fills into her own drumming

Great reaction he said she enjoyed it very personal reaction he was moved and he was suprised that there were a lot of covers even older drummers but that is perfect. Similary like Yunna and reaction of Gee Anzalone from Dragonforce. He said that only his performance is better.
