Bending steel bars, blowing up new hot water bottles, tearing thick phone books in two, ripping new playing card decks in two, lifting heavy objects, and pushing heavy cars while in gear with the motor turned off ( 4 door Impala ) . Watching Paul Anderson exhibition at a nearby college. Four years later lifting 500+ lb paper stock blocks up to a conveyor belt at work, holding a 600+ lbs bail of lint on my upper chest while walking to the next room to stack it on the pile at the thread plant. Lifting a 750 lb metal mandrel from the floor to up into the cradle and also down to the floor at the paper mill, wrecking my right shoulder 10 yrs later at my cousin's gym in 1978. Those days are only partially gone, with silver sneakers have gym memberships again, though retired.
