It’s too bad that Olight has recently discontinued this great flashlight. I hope that they bring out a new model with a similar aggressive strike bezel ( some people call it a DNA collector lol ) as the M1X Striker flashlight. I regret not having bought one . Great review 👍

This is a great light, I couldn't ask for a better one.

I have two of them, one in my hip pocket and the other on my Colt M4. Love them both, would like to see a removeable front bezel so the teeth of the light would go in the suitcase. It lights up the world when you need it.

I remember this one. It's a lot like the old M18 Striker in that it's a tactical torch with one heck of a bite up front, with the difference that this one has a much better UI that allows it to be carried in EDC format as well unlike the M18 with its clunky interface and only 2 excessively powerful modes (800 lumens or 300, good for tactical but not so much for EDC). The lack of tailstanding is indeed unfortunate. All the same, I'd love having one of these, but sadly it's not yet outdated to the point where my meager budget can afford it. For now I'm sticking to a Convoy C8 even if it doesn't have momentary (it's reverse-clicky). Belated Merry Christmas, Fred!

I love my Olight S10R. It works so well, I don't want, or need to replace it.. But I really like that one, too. Might be time to add to my Olight collection.:)

They make great lights. The problem is they have totally unresponsive customer service. They do not reply at all. I've noticed other comments with similar observations. Hopefully, I won't have an issue.

Nitecore P12GT also has strobe and moonlight memory. Down side, no instant access strobe or turbo

It has some nice features but I'm not sure how much sense it makes to have a CR123/18650 interchange. I guess they do that because they both deliver ~ 3.7V, but if the circuitry could handle a wider voltage range they could offer a AA/18650 combo. Therefore if you ran the 18650 down you could get by on AA's from just about any store or your stash.
@GearObsession8 жыл бұрын
I don't think it is possible to do that.

?Bummer!

That's impossible with current technology. You need 4 AA cells to equal an 18650 in voltage. CR123 is good if you just leave the light parked for ready but very infrequent use, as primary lithium batteries have a much higher shelf life than li-ion rechargeables.

Wanna buy my first EDC Flashlight for self defence and need something that are easy to keep in the pocket. Would you recommend this one or are there another one to recommend. I like the striking edge of this light. I want something that are able to disorientate some one at night.

Your voice over in some parts did not synchronize with the video making the presentation confusing.

Almost 4- 1/2 minutes into the video just to start talking about the actual flashlight. Sheesh.
