Hi, really good work. So inspiring. Also, i would like you to try Animdessin 2, it a photoshop extension really helpful in frame by frame animation!

My current workflow works somewhat similar to that extension. Im not a fan of the extension as it is a bit clunky. Instead I just made a lot of actions in Photoshop bound to keyboard shortcuts that does similar things as the extension.

Thanks! It took a few hours to complete. The biggest portion of time was spent on the colour process. But then I could just zone out to some podcast and music :)

Is there a good reason you don’t draw with paths? Seems like it would save you a lot of time in deformation and coloring phases. Love Totoro and your calming tutorial style. Thanks

Thanks man! I think the painting capabilities in Photoshop is superior to other software's like Animate for example. However I have not really worked in Animate since it used to be Flash so perhaps I need to give it a go. I'm sure that is useful. :) It is all vector right?

@@crypso1526 I found a workaround. If you extend the background video layer and THEN add the video layer, it adopts the length of the background layer. Nonsensical but it works more or less

Try using video groups rather than video layers. Means you can treat the frames as separate layers, yet they are grouped on a single timeline row.
