The story I had always read about the fighter walking out of the ring was that he signed the contract for an untelevised fight therefore less money and when fight night came he found out it was televised meaning he should have been making more and then did exactly what you said.

The woman eating punches is actually Christy Martin, a legend in women’s boxing. Competed for 23 years, one time WBC Super Welterweight champion, two years before that clip survived being shot and stabbed by her trainer/husband. Those were the last seconds of her retirement fight. 🙌 🥊

6:00 I kicked another boxer in the ring in my first match 😂 It was 20 years ago, but I still remember, like it was yesterday 😂 I had few thaiboxing trainings before I switched to boxing and my first fight was like a war. Not much of skill on both sides, but lot of power and big hits. In last round, I was in ropes, I was hit pretty hard, my head dropped a bit and all I saw at the moment was my opponents leg and my leg, striking a beautiful low-kick 😂 It was some kind of muscle memory reflex I couldnt stop. I was boxing in my home town and I heard from the crowd somebody shouting on the referee "kick this fu...er out!!!!" What a moment, I Will never forget in my life 😂☝️

Hey Tony.. yeah that trainer hitting his students in the face is completely ridiculous.. I can't believe he's not banned. Also thank you for your videos.. I'm improving more and more on my boxing and I'm a 45 year old man that trains in jiujitsu for a solid minute.. it's nice to be more diverse in other arts. I love the fact that you tried out jiujitsu as well.. you have real heart and you are very humble!! Thank you!! One more thing.. yes I do notice I walk around the house shadow boxing and I also like to shadow box in the mirror to give me an outside look on my technique that I don't notice when I'm shadow boxing without a mirror.. I also love my gym cuz they have the doors open fairly late and I train with other members that stick around after hours to get more practice to improve. Thank you so much for your videos.. thank you for being you mate.. Much love from a northern friend from Toronto Ontario Canada.. Mark aka Chop 🥊😡🥊

I kicked a boxer who was helping me with my hand techniques. I was training in TaeKwonDo at the time. We were sparring at about 25% when muscle memory took over. He poked a jab, I slipped back and clipped him with a roundhouse. Good thing we were going light and I had good control. All he really got was a light tap on the cheek. He made a comment about why it is important to keep your guard up, you never know what may be coming your way.

Boxers be like "He kick him! No good! Crazy!: But people these days get kicked on the street. For self-defense, a boxer needs to know how to kick and how to defend against a kicker. And how to clinch and sweep. So Mr. Jeffries, how about it? A simple, easy series on kicking, and another on clinching? And takedown defense, too.
