Exactly what every beginner lifter (like me) needs to see, understand and drill. There's a lot of weightlifting stuff on YT but nothing (as far as I've seen/found) is as focused on the true starting point as this. I did want to ask about "the double scoop/bend" before getting the bar to mid thigh/hips - it confuses the hell out of me! Do we double bend yes or no and why? Thank you!

Glad you enjoyed it! For your question, i would suggest to think of just pulling knees back a tad to pass. You are right, the double bend/scoop can get a bit confusing. Just keep on doing the snatch pass by while engaging lats and pushing your legs into the ground. Hope that helps!
