I've tweaked the video capture settings to give higher quality video output, what do you think?

lol i think cheremisinov headbutting him was also a factor
@thebestof58362 жыл бұрын
But you see, Garozzo could resist, he could be said to have faked a fall, and for this a yellow card is given. In this situation, it was possible not to give a yellow card and say disperse

looked ok to me

@@thebestof5836 but garozzo s objective is not to save his opponent from a yellow by resisting a headbutt (which is also a pretty violent corp a corp which is still yellow)😂😂😂😂

Bianchi touches, Referee calls halt. Then Kleibrink hit Bianchi, Bianchi hit Kleibrink in response so the ref gave out cards for either anti sporting behavior or vindictive action, or possibly for not obeying the referee.
@dzfz21004 жыл бұрын
@@OlympicFoil that seems kind of harsh - it all looked kind of reactionary and pretty much initiated as the ref said halt.
@samsignorelli4 жыл бұрын
@@OlympicFoil Oh come on...Kleibrink's last action was already enroute at very close range when the halt came....it DOES take time to respond. What did the ref expect?
@cptn_n3m0123 жыл бұрын
@@samsignorelli sure, this call seems unreasonnable. However, one must keep in mind that fencing comes with context. It probably wasn't the first time something like this happened during the bout and the ref might have already given multiple warnings.

Did you decide to rename the "russians fouling people compilation" to this to avoid backlash? Cuz the vast majority of these cards seem to come that way. (For good reason mind you, I just find it funny)
@OlympicFoil4 жыл бұрын
Once it was made, I thought it was a bit too short so I found some more cards from other countries! It's a shame I couldn't keep it though, I think it's a snappier title 😅
@stencetheboss4 жыл бұрын
@@OlympicFoil oh definitely, but to be fair 95% of the cards are russians jostling, italians being dramtic, or peter joppich/race imboden raising tensions. You coulda called it "fencing drama cards" and gotten away with it XD

I found Russian players to be very oddly aggressive. Since I’m into psychology and behavioral science. It’s definitely some kind of behavioral issues I think, resulted from the country freshly exit from the Soviet era, many problems still exist, maybe these Russian athletes got affect by the country’s many current issues created by poor leadership back then, even now.
@jfwfilms76163 жыл бұрын
Yeah. Just because cheremisinov gets lots of cards does not necessarily mean all russian fencers have such tendency. also im not sure if his card is coming from his aggressiveness. i feel he is not good at in-fights so he often covers his body with arm or gets too close to the opponent.
