Bro that’s the reason why everyone says that it actually works I believe them because they don’t benefit or make money from this you can’t trust any type of buisness. It’s honest has worked for me I’ve been doing this for only 3 days and I’ve lost like 5 pounds already because with me I just jumped in cold turkey I do 23 hours of fasting and I eat only 200 calories per day which is like 6k calories per month which most people eat in a week. Because of coronavirus quarantine I did nothing but play video games in my bed and eat. I used the be always skinny it’s time for change.

You don't need to count calories, I sit all day and I still eat a lot of calories. It is not about calories. It is about insulin. @caleb82433 жыл бұрын
Then she wasnt truly eating 1500 calories a day. You cant put on 3kg in 1 month while only eating 1500. 3kg is just over 6.5lbs. So in order for her to have gained that much, that means she was eating 750 calories a day more than she was burning(6.5×3,500 and then divided by 30) So if she's only eating 1,500, that means her body was only burning 750 calories a day. Not possible at all.

@Rne Nd Everyone is different! Doctors don’t know everything and that’s how people suffer. The big advantage of OMAD is it makes calorie restriction easy. The study the cardiologist refers to was done on subjects who ate their normal daily caloric intake in one sitting. Most people who do OMAD cannot do that. They do not do it like the lady referred to here as it is too hard to stuff yourself like that and not feel sick. Glad it works for her but the fact most people end up eating less calories overall is what leads to the weight loss.

I've done so many diets, as I am sure many have, and the truth is, there isn't a good diet or a bad diet... there is the diet that works for you and not only you can stick with but enjoy... on a basic level, you have to account for calories in/calories out no matter which diet.. and if you want to be healthy while losing weight, then you also have to account for certain minimum of key nutrients...then its up to you whether you have one meal or ten... i've finally found the diet I enjoy and was able to lose 60lbs in 6 months (got 30lbs more to go to reach my ideal weight).. it's simply making my own meals instead of eating out... i still eat most of what i like, but i make it..and the trick is to substitute stuff... for example, instead of coke, coke zero... instead of sugar, Truvia... instead of store bought salad dressing, I make my own oil free dressing... instead frying, air frying.... instead of ice cream, anabolic ice cream... and the list goes on.. and I assure you I eat everything you can imagine from steaks to burgers to fries, just made at home with half the calories and most of the time better flavor... what you have to realize, is that the weight you gained over the years, happened through a surplus of 200-300 calories a day, that's it...so to cut 200-300 calories is super easy by just simple substitutes (or 30 min workout)...this is just to stop the weight gain... now to start losing, create another 200-300 deficit through more substitutions (not less food), or through adding another 30 min workout, and you will see the pounds shed, slowly but surely... take your time, don't be aggressive, because that's when you push yourself then fail..... also for those who hate cooking at home and cleaning, I was one, so I tried to create meal recipes and use kitchenware that make the process a breeze... for example I got an air fryer and an instant pot, both cook stuff without you doing a lot of work and healthy... easy to clean... I got most of my stuff as glassware (so easy and quick to clean, no stains or smell of food)... I also use a lot of disposable bags and other stuff for storage and meal prep... and to even make my salad prep more enjoyable, I got a nice big wooden board and a super sharp Nakiri (japanese vegetable cleaver) that made me look forward to cutting stuff because its super fast and super sharp... and these are just stuff that worked for me, and might work for you, or might not...but to find out, you have to sit down and think about what is it that makes you want to do something or what is it that makes you not want to do something, then do the right tweaks to change that

The more often I eat the hungrier I am. I randomly do OMAD and 2MAD with about a 3:1 emphasis on OMAD. I focus on a KETO framework with about 70% saturated animal fats. I have averaged 5lb/week when I stuck to that routine since Jan1/22. I feel great and haven't had this much energy in over 25 years. My wife has noticed a distinct improvement in my mental health and my hypertension is improving. On my best week I lost 9lb in 5 days. My main word of caution is not to mix extended fasting with intermittent fasting. I got greedy and did that and interrupted my weight loss for 4 weeks before getting back on track. You can mix the 2 but you have to be extremely regimented and not eat more the 1000cals/day. I do not see that as a healthy alternative.

It takes longer than normal food to digest, hence, no weight lost on the next day. I noticed that I can eat less. Just a couple bites and I'm full haha. But I'll need to keep eating or I'll get hungry in the next 5 hours. Listen to your body! There are some days I ate 2 meals and still lose weight. You know what, don't focus on the scale so much. I know I want to see the result fast so I kinda stick to it too much. Oh drink a lot of water too! Your body really needs it. Have fun! 😊

Why does this clip not include Dr Fung’s contribution? His videos are well worth listening to, as he explains why he first used IF to treat his kidney patients, and the physiological processes which bring about safe weight loss. I would have liked to hear his response to the second speaker. I have personally followed his advice for about 18 months and have gone from 75 to 61 kilos. I just turned 79 and I feel great!

Omad is easy enough once you understand your hunger comes in waves and you can get over the twang with some discipline. I'll admit I only do omad Mon-Thur because on the weekends I might go for meals or drinks which makes things awkward. If I dont have plans though ill keep doing omad. Makes you feel amazing.

I must be a special subject because when I followed either 16:8 or Omad, combined with eating healthy Whole Foods my overall cholesterol levels and blood pressure went from ridiculously high to normal range. When I went off that eating pattern and normal 3+ meals a day and still eating very clean my liver went into overdrive snd blood pressure went up. Lastly I find it interesting this clip leaves our Dr Fung speaking because he has done a lot of research on this

Well i didn't start omad intentionally. Im going through a break up and have absolutely no appetite. I have to force the one meal a day. I feel the hunger pains but can only stomach the one meal. Im taking vitamins just to increase my appetite but it has not helped. The vitamins do however help me enjoy the one meal. I either just eat breakfast or lunch no dinner. It's going on two weeks and I still can only eat once a day. I was worried at first but since this is a thing I will embrace the transition. Hell if I must be heart broken I might as well get trim in the process. Im about to start walking my neighborhood as well to help with my anxiety. Pray for me y'all

In my opinion: -Eat 1MAD with a *zero carb, high fat, high protein diet* (of course with loads of veggies), doing high intensity *anaerobic exercise* regularly so your metabolism doesn't get fucked (aggressive dieting can *lessen* your metabolism over time, yet anaerobic exercise encourages your body to *increase* it's metabolism). Also, *NO SNACKING ALLOWED.* -Once you get to your desired body fat percentage, switch to a 2MAD 16:8 diet, where you have *2 big meals* ; one at the *beginning of the 1st hour* and one at the *end of the 7th hour* (so breakfast + early dinner *OR* brunch + dinner). Once in a while, you may have a *maximum of 1 high carb meal in a day* (cheat meal), but the other *MUST* be zero carb and *NO SNACKING THROUGHOUT THE SAME DAY* . However, if both meals are to be zero carb, you *may snack within the 8 hour window.* Now, as the diet is not so extreme, you may also exersise however you like :) Also drink enough and I suppose take multivitamins around half way through your fast.

Speaking from experience from being on the OMAD diet for over a year now, I would say I get hangry when its an hour or two til my food time, but other than that its been nothing but positive side effects. Besides feeling more mentally clear throughout the day, another positive side effect is, I feel my stomach has shrunk and overall I eat way less calories now everyday with my one meal, than I did by constantly snacking throughout the day.

@@intuitivedesires603 pretty sure anything over 80 something is considered high. Dropped down 4-4,5kg since less than 2 months ago... I just searched for this, to see if others have done the 1 meal/day methods too. I eat every 18-20hours. Last meal was schniztel with tomato, lettuce and onions with a pepper cream sauce, that I had (as an example). It was as much veggies as a pizza is big + 2 schitzels ontop with tons of sauce.. must have been close to 1500 calories.. so it's nice to be able to eat til I'm completely full + a bit more (to make sure I won't get hungry later). So it's not just picking ANYTHING to eat, but removing that which is like glue to ones system (pasta, bread, cheese..) to a certain degree and only use a bit (if must!). Then it's really about making sure to get A LOT of sleep (cause that's when you loose the most weight) + drink sugarfree stuff like: water, coffee, tea (even beer works, if you don't over-do it!) Best diet I have ever come across, cause it's easy to stick with and that one (like I said) does not have to go around and being hungry. Just have to skip breakfast and wait a few hours then eat a super large meal (without over-doing the unhealthy stuff) and it's like magic! Just disappears. This truely is something that works, without much effort so... if people are having a really hard time losing weight, I highly recommend it!
