I've had mine almost 1yr. Very happy with it. I've put five muzzle devices on different rifles. .223x2,300bo,.308,and 6.5cm

Nice, I have almost two thousand rounds through mine and the only thing that I have done so far is chip away the carbon on the muzzle break. GOOD LUCK with yours!
@breckfreeride2 жыл бұрын
Are the 556 and 308 muzzle devices different OD sizes? Does that also require a different size asr? Nevermind... Seems as long as you have the correct threat pitch for your barrel, they all fit the asr
@racer14glr912 жыл бұрын
@@breckfreeride the thread pitch of their barrels are different. So you need to get the right one for the barrel. The ASR mount is the same between all calibers.

why do they not recommend .22LR? does it reduce recoil and flash too, such as muzzle brakes do?
@johnsimonelli99883 жыл бұрын
They say the lead builds up in the suppressor and creates a dangerous situation . They do have suppressors that are designed for .22 rimfire.

@@johnsimonelli9988 This video really inspired me to get one, i have decided to get the omerga 36M and get the octane 45 for free special they have gong on. how do you clean it if its sealed and cannot take it apart? eventually would think need to clean it. right?

@@joejeans7913 I have over 2500 rounds through mine and it is performing perfectly. I have been told the rifle rounds basically clean themselves every time you shoot.

I've read a lot of good reviews on the Omega 300! What kind of accuracy and groups are you getting at long range shooting? Thanks
@johnsimonelli99884 жыл бұрын
My experience has been excellent. I just shot a 3 inch group at 700 yards with my 6mm creed. My 7mm mag hunting rifle just shot a 1.35 inch group with Nosler Partition 175gr at 300 yards. My son who has very little shooting experience consistently hits 12 inch steel plate out at 500 yards and it really take the recoil out of the rifle.

@@johnsimonelli9988 Thanks John, that may just be my next precision rifle can for a 6.5 PRC! I've been talking to Silencer Shop about the Omega 300 and the Dead Air, Nomad TI...still doing research and appreciate your valued experience. You've got a tack driver in that 6mm Creedmore - great shooting.

Nice vid! One question I have is why did you choose the Omega 300 over the 36m? The guys at the shop were pushing me go with 36m but it seems like from the stats that the omega is quieter. I'm wondering why you chose this one? Thanks!
@johnsimonelli9988 Жыл бұрын
When I purchased mine in 2017 I had it in mind to use it for hunting and long range bolt action rifles. I liked the fact that you can run the anchor brake or not. Also I can run the 30 cal flat end cap or the .223 end cap or anchor brake. As far as suppression goes I find atmospheric conditions, barrel length and caliber play a big roll in sound suppression. I hope that helps.

What is the tread on the baffle housing? Not the thread mounts that screw on to the gun.
