genuinely incredible. i could have easily watched the 2.5 hour version of this story, though they did a perfect job fitting the plot arc into 15 minutes. it wasn't rushed at all, and felt much longer than it was. the acting was impeccable, the focus puller deserves a raise, the sound was really immersive, and the writing just marvelous. thank you omeleto!!

There were no rifles in this short. Those were shotguns. I wondered briefly where the guy who came back from the dead got the over-and-under when the opening scenes showed them using a side-by-side, but the side-by-side soon reappeared. If that woman had been wielding a rifle, with its significantly longer range, she would have had a much better chance to get one of the boys in the truck.

But driving the buggy all over hell's creation: me and my mate got lost in Alaska with no cell signal. Took us about an hour to drive to the hunting spot (he hunts, I just walk). Spent about five hours walking around, saw some game about two miles away once, and then it took us 8 hours to get back because we kept getting lost. Fun times!
