Hey everyone! Somehow the timings of all my laptop reviews seem to coincide with a major hardware launch. Specifically, RTX 3060 laptops. The RTX 3060 Mobile is a direct replacement for the 2060 Mobile and seems to offer a 20% performance increase over the 2060 Mobile at the same TGP (see Hardware Unboxed's review of the 3060 for more info) and a similar MSRP. So you get 2070 Mobile performance for 2060 Mobile prices. However, with the great GPU shortage, stock (and therefore actual prices) is still widely erratic, so be sure to check prices on both RTX 20 and 30-Series laptops before buying. 20-Series laptops might have some nice end-of-life discounts you can take advantage of which may make them better value than 30-Series models. Anyway, that's all from me. Enjoy the video, and take care everyone :)

Great video. I appreciate you going into details that most people care about but so many other KZbinrs seem to miss. You'll be at 100k subscribers soon enough and then thereafter, the sky is the limit. Ravi Peiris M.D.

Just FYI - I've seen this video several times and after some deliberation, I've decided to pull the trigger and purchase the HP Omen :) Thank you Tech2Papa, Ravi Peiris M.D.

@@Tech2Papa no problem! If you take recommendations, you should checkout the Thrustmaster T150 wheel (or something on the same price range since inflation made them go through the roof) for immersion on the cheap. I got mine 2 years ago for 90 dollars open box and think it’s great and would make awesome review material :)

Oooo I’ll check it out. Thanks for the recommendation!

Would 3DMarkfire be a good test to run down the line for CPU stress tests or it doesn't really matter? Also, could you test out the: -Lenovo Thinkpad x395 -Asus Vivobook R -Dell Inspiron 14+15 -Vivobook 15 -Vivobook flip 14 -Lenovo Yoga 6 2 in 1 -Acer Spin 3 -Dell XPS 7390 -Lenovo Ideapad Flex 5 Haven't found any in-depth reviews like this for any of these laptops despite how many people inquired about them online.

3DMark Fire Strike is a combined test, and I use it since it’s easily comparable across different systems, plus they have a public database so I can access the performance data of other hardware without having to physically test them, which brings me to my next point. I will do my best to test these models (I’ve already made a video on the X395 actually), but given that this is still a pretty small channel, I can’t promise I’ll be able to do any of these unfortunately. Currently, most of my review units were either bought using my own money, or borrowed from my friends. I don’t have any review units sent over from companies, nor am I “big” enough to ask for some. As such, I don’t have much freedom to choose the exact models I can review unless I buy and sell them myself which is uneconomical at this time (perhaps in the future this will be possible). But if I do have the opportunity to review these, you can be sure I’ll make a video on it :)

I'll be ready to watch if you do. Yeah, the first video I saw on this channel was on the X395; hah, I just forgot that I'd seen it after watching everything else.
