NL you can use the Drag Pieces Only move method in the settings to avoid misclicks like that first game.

Don't make him move any slower hahah
@mattland39242 жыл бұрын
@@samuelsisti4849 How would that make him move slower? He already drags pieces which is considered the faster method than click two squares. Using drag only would just eliminate misclicks where he didn't mean to move which actually might eliminate some cautiousness around mouse movement and let him go faster.
@UngodlyFreak2 жыл бұрын
@@mattland3924 I don't see how dragging pieces would be any faster or slower than clicking. You have to move the mouse the same amount of distance either way. Plus I've had misclicks even by using the dragging method by releasing the piece on the wrong square.
@mattland39242 жыл бұрын
@@UngodlyFreak I think It can be slightly faster because you just have to click then release instead of click, release, then click again which can make a difference if you have fast mouse speed especially for short moves. At worst it's equal definitely not slower like Samuel suggested which is why I replied to him. Of course both methods can have misclicks/mouse slips although I find dragging is more intuitive and a bit faster and all the top players like Hikaru and Danya seem to agree. The point was that you shouldn't have both methods enabled at the same time which is the default if you only use one method. NL only ever drags and would prevent misclicks from two clicks if he used Drag Pieces Only.
