@michaelcomoss6642 when I learned I was already into mechanics pretty good. So I already knew what everything was just had to memorize the list. Watch other cdl pretrip videos on KZbin. They are not exactly how Walmart wants it done but should help get 75% in your head

Automatic fails on pre-trip. Any safety items. To include the seat belt brake bleed down and 5th wheel connection. The 5 components of coupling are 1 tug test. 2.front bolt is in. 3. Handle Is in. 4. No gap between the fifth wheel and trailer. 5. The jaws are closed.

90 degree back isn't something i've ever had to do. It's not required by Indiana to get your class A and i've pretty much exclusively done hazmat tanker work

Yes all Walmart trucks have Lytx. I was doing dedicated for them out of Indiana, Kentucky, and Illinois al of July. It’s just a matter of time before it’s required by all insurance companies. I got my CDL IN 2018. I was also a state trooper for two years before that. All drivers: 4 & 18 wheels. have gotten noticeably worst due to cellphones. Stay off your phone while driving it’s no different than driving drunk. My carrier has Lytx in every cab. Crete, JB & Schneider are retro fitting their entire fleets.

At this time they are only outward facing, but they have caught people on their cell phones due to reflection off window, so don't try and take for granted that they are only outward facing. They also state that they have the right to move to inward facing at a later time if they deem necessary.

I hate the new lytx cams that talk to you, Amerigas uses them and pretty much just to go after their drivers and give them reasons to minimize their annual raise. Part of the reason I left there very anti driver
