One of my favorite cars. I actually own a 1:1 '59 Ford Fairlane Galaxy 500 which is a 4 door sedan. It's a lawn ornament, but I own one! LOL

There is somewhere on the internet a guy I think out of japan that built this kit with working top. Opens and Closes with remote.

My Dads first new car was a 59 Ford. It was just a base/entry level model. So, needless to say I'm really going to enjoy watching you bring this one to life. Ironically, I just started using the building method you mentioned, on my current gasser build (Thames Panel Truck). I was skeptical as to if it was a good idea or not. Hearing that's how you build Tommy, is very reassuring.
