What happened to Eric Kim recently ? That was a great story you shared of how you met him and it’s a great kindness for someone you’ve met for the first time to treat you like that. This was a good video. It’s been a time and some since there was a great video with you in it. It’s great seeing you riffing about your past too. Samuel is a great host and foil which makes him great interviewer material.

@@MarcS4R once upon a time Eric Kim bought a Leica and a summicron and displayed great confidence and enthusiasm. To the extent he felt he could teach other people photography. He seems to only use a GR3 and a Go Pro nowadays and seems to be putting out content which no one understands except him. Maybe he just doesn’t want to be a great photographer anymore or a source of inspiration to others. Maybe the stress of that broke him.

Awesome. Can totally relate to everything TakeKayo said and his experiences in his life... we must be around the same age. Hahaha. From film days, Nirvana, decades of shooting....till today waiting for that elusive key. In some mundane day job but still everything is about photography, shooting, daily if not weekly or even monthly or randomly. The act of photography just brings joy when it happens.
