i think i still prefer permanent big tracks and not street tracks. tho i understand why FE uses them. however with Gen 4 onwards its time to ditch the street tracks i feel. at least the FE style street tracks. the street tracks that F1 uses is fine for FE like we already know how good monaco is with for FE.

​@@jesperhammarlund300 I think we're already seeing that transition. I hope they start going to some legacy/historic street tracks mostly. Places like Macau, Long Beach, Adelaide etc. Maybe a couple FE tracks like Tokyo and Sao Paulo. Then make the rest of the calendar permanent road circuits. That'd probably be ideal.

​@@Yantrus yeah, but they're heavy, have very little aero grip, and are on all weather tires. They aren't as fast as F2, but they probably feel faster than F2 since you're on edge so much and the tracks tend to be so tight.

I already told them, to give the car a dynamic back wing! Currently the problem is, that they are very slow in curves, because they have a flat back wing. Its clear, they need a flat back wing, because otherwise they would consume too much power at the straights. But if they can have a dynamic one (manual or automated) the could use a flat back wing at the straights, and steep back wing in the corners!

we may not even need a rear wing. Low drag - high downforce car is quite easy to come by without a rear wing as proven with Peugeot in WEC (they had to come out of their way to make the car more draggy for the regulations)

I’d love to see full power available in the race with no restriction for charging pit stops. That would spice up the strategy and feel less artificial than attack mode activation. Heck I’m okay with car swaps if it means running in this flat out trim in the actual race.

Will they have traction control or a pseudo traction control that controls the power output between front and rear wheels? Like if the front starts to slip will power be directed towards the rear or will the car understeer?

This is quite a bit faster than the cars that usually race on the tight and twisty FE street circuits. Can the original venues safely support these faster cars? Or should the calendar include more permanent racing circuits?

There's already some talk about some of the FE circuits needing to be adapted/moved. Main one at the moment is London, thats likely to get binned once the gen 4 car comes as it's just unsuitable for that car. Talk of Silverstone or Brands Hatch instead. Also, some talk on extending the Tokyo track to make it longer than it is currently.
