You can tell you are a positive person simply by what comes out of your children's mouths. Children speak like we do, whether we want them to or not. Keep up the good work.

I enjoy watching your videos because it brings back great memories :)..I am 67 yrs. now, had 7 children(5 miscarriages) there would have been 12..Gave up a career & became full-time mom. did not homeschool, almost unheard of then..They are all grown now (9 grandchildren)...One daughter said to me, "mom, I don't ever remember you sitting down." lol.. Well, I sit down now, lol..and still busy..Oh, those grocery days, lol..I remind myself,lol,when I'm at the store, I don't have to shop like that anymore, because my mindset , of course was into large hauls..You are doing a great job!!! a labor of love..Fulfilled the measure of my creation..Motherhood is a high calling...hugs

Just now getting to watch your grocery haul. I told my husband that I need to take some serious lessons from you! You have a family of nine, mine is four - all adults, and I probably spend as much for four people as you do for nine! So I am going to do some major meal planning - something I've not done in a long time, STICK TO IT, and see if I can't cut our budget down! Thank you for inspiring me to be more frugal with the money God has blessed us with! You have sweet children, by the way! Daniel cheered my heart so much! All your children are so helpful and have such a sweet spirit!

Oh my gosh, Baby Daniel is getting so GROWN! 👶🏻 Seems like just the other day you were doing a porch chat with him in your belly....goodness, how time flies! Great grocery haul!! My daughter asked why you got "so much" and why I watch your grocery hauls, andI said "it's because she's blessed(with children,etc.)SO MUCH! And I'm taking notes for the day when we get blessed more, too!" She thought about that and said, "I guess that makes sense. I hope we get blessed like that,too....I want that many bananas!" Lol!! Anyways, hope y'all have a blessed weekend!!

lavinia Taylor we have a large family as well. bread is frozen, milk is alright but take a cup out before freezing as it will expand. bananas, I can them for other meals and you can slice then freeze on baking sheet. a favorite here is using them in smoothies (I premake smoothies in baggies then make as needed).

Hi Jamerrill...I just want to say---you are so inspiring and I so enjoy you and your family as you weave your way through life! (Baby Daniel is SUCH a little nugget!!) My children are grown and leading their own lives---homeschooling wasn't a 'thing' when they were growing up (much to my disappointment!) but my oldest son and his lovely wife are exploring this option for their 2 children and I have directed them towards your website for some insight and direction to assist them on finding their information. I am happy that I stumbled onto your videos and beyond (I was actually looking around for bulk shopping and freezer cooking, and your videos were the first on my search results! I consider this a lovely fate occurrence! ) Thank you for sharing your faith and family with me. I look forward to 'seeing' you guys again soon! Blessings to you all, Lynn

Wow lots of food for super cheap. In Canada the prices are extremely expensive. Thank goodness for coupons. Your haul probably would've been around $400 in Canada at regular retail price. Great Video!
@maryak8 жыл бұрын
I just did a shop for meal prepping, one week's worth (partial as I had already purchased/had on hand a whole heap of the ingredients) and half a shopping trolley came to $200. I live in Australia. That's normal here. I started to work out how much you would've paid had you purchased that here and stopped after only a few items because it'd gone way over $200. Just out of plain interest here's just some of what you would've paid for a few of the items; 10 gallons milk - $60 Almond Milk - $12 20 Cartons Eggs - $60 36 Yogurts - $168 4 large yogurts - $24 3 large Cottage cheese - $15 10 loaves bread - $30 And that's where I stopped and couldn't continue cause I was getting too depressed lol. Just those items total $369!!!!

Hey where you live in Australia I live in Brisbane and it’s not that expensive if you buy store brands but if you choose expensive brands then surely this will be more expensive. If you wrap greens in paper towels or line containers of greens with paper towels they will last so much longer. The paper towels absorb moisture (change them out, if needed), and it's their high water content that causes greens to go bad so quickly.

You have a great local aldi! It looks HUGE compared to the ones here in Michigan! I plan to check out aldi after we move for my hubby's new job! The new town I'll shop in has aldi, Walmart, Costco, and Sam's club all on the main road, so I will be able to do all my shopping quickly and effectively! Currently, the Walmart and Sam's club are too far from the Aldi to make it worth my time. I'd spend my grocery savings in gas. I have to go do a fill in haul tomorrow to replenish from my OAM meal plan and freezer cooking video that I was inspired to do because of your freezer cooking, so THANK YOU and keep them coming as you can!!!!!
