I’m glad this video popped up on my feed. As someone who is a Protestant looking seriously into Catholicism, I have serious concerns about Pope Francis. Catholics are constantly having to nuance his words to get him out of the realm of error or plain heresy. I know a bad pope doesn’t disprove Catholicism, but how is this guy so off base so often? It makes me wonder if I can trust the people who elected this guy to be the head of the church. And when do they finally come out and say he was wrong instead of constantly explaining away it as unclear. It feels dishonest and that the pope actually does say what he means. He’s a liberal and doesn’t believe Christ is the only way. How does one submit to this?
