I'll have to watch Jackie Brown again, but OUATIH is ,imoa, the apex of Tarantino's career. As you say, it has ALL the Tarantino vibes in it but he adds a heaping dose of HEART. And it's that addition that elevates his work from brilliant but distant to brilliant and involving. I rate this one as far above his other works for that reason alone. And while it is 'nice' to give equivalency to those who appreciate this film and those who don't , I don't do that. Those who don't 'get' this film are poorer in some fundamental sense than those who do. If you read the Internet comments, on say IMDB, those who get it post profound reasons why they like it. Those who don't, don't. 'Boring, too long, nothing happens, stupid,'. Insights such as that. I'm not going to call those opinions equivalent. Because they are not. My new favourite film if only because the re-watch value is through the roof when you go with its flow.

Doug F. Yeah man I completely agree. I’ve heard some very empty and confused critiques of the film that make me wonder whether they were even watching the same film. I can’t wait to rewatch the film and pick up on all the details Tarantino has no doubt crammed the film with. Thanks for watching! :)

Great review mate. Just wondering you seem to do reviews in different places all the time, just wondering why? :)
