To best understand Rumple and his relationship with Power, I always find it best to look at it as something extremelly similar to an addiction plotline (cuz pretty much that's what this is). While he did start to get better and also did start to redeem himself, what happened after that? Neal's death. I know we'd like to imagine his death would actually make Rumple try even harder to honor his memory, but what actually happens is that he now has faced a huge loss and that actually makes him lean once again, even harder, on his addiction. He loves Belle, he knows Emma was the love of his son's life and also knows she's the mother of his grandchild. His dependence on power however is just so powerful that it surpasses all of it. Addicts unfortunatelly very often do choose their drugs over their loved ones.

To be completely fair to Emma, she didn't mean to hurt Regina. She didn't know that woman was Marion....All she thought was , she is saving this woman...And that woman did not tell Emma her name...The sad thing about Rumple and Belle, is that he really does love her. Unfortunately, He loves his power more....

1)I can't believe this show wants you *NOT* to have Robin Hood&Maid Marian together!!!🤬💢It completely goes *AGAINST* the concept of True Love!!! 2)I think people tend to forget the Dark One's is a *magical curse.* It's not that simple to fight against it.

@@Nicamonhis curse was almost broken in the flashback scene where belle kisses him after Regina told her true love will break a curse. He willingly gave in to the curse so I doubt it’ll work again. And the show has established you can have more than just romantic true love. Otherwise the kiss woth Henry in the first season and the third one wouldn’t have worked

​@@ericksandoval8276 Yeah,exactly,it took _magic_ to break the Dark One curse,it's not something you can fight with your sole free will,I believe. So whenever Rumple does something nasty while being the Dark One I always tend to cut him some slack because I'm like:"OK,but he's literally _cursed_ into be a bad person,it's not _totally_ his fault!"Plus,even if he wasn't cursed anymore,he spent _centuries_ behaving a certain way,you don't just get rid of bad habits in a heartbeat,especially long lasting ones. Yes,there are several types of True Love,but Hood x Regina VS Robin x Marian are both romantic loves. So I can't see what's your point here...🤨

lol the dark one lol this hs a generational curse ! Both his parents chose power over family it’s in the blood 🩸, the only one of rumples line that we have seen break have been Henry and his father 😅but grandpa and great grandparents were just as bad Pam and The Dark Fairy. 🧚‍♂️

@@marinakjones I got up this morning at 07:00 AM and started to watch and comment this video and I've finished at 10:20 AM. It took me *more than 3 hours* to comment a 1 hour and 20 minutes video. I wanted to play"Baldur's Gate 3"this morning but I had to spend it almost *solely* on commenting this 1 video. And that's because I'm currently not working so I have several free mornings. I have a huge problem with Mary Margaret. I mean, I don’t agree when people “split personas” like Evil Queen/Regina or Hook/Killian, because I thinks this is just a way to justify awful things instead of giving them the opportunity to grow, BUT I honestly have trouble thinking like this about Mary/Snow. I guess it’s because it’s the opposite of others: they were bad and then wanted to become a better person, you know?! Since the curse was broken in season 1, her character is just a mess! Where’s that friendship she had with Emma?! Now she’s always saying all the wrong things! And I know there’s the whole impact of the news her daughter is there and etc, but that didn’t happen with David. I just can’t handle…. sorry 😅

You obviously did not see the show and its fullest you forgot the wonderland season you were supposed to watch that after season 3 will Scarlett's love do not die. Like Rumple she chose power over love. Became the Red Queen of wonderland. Cora is the Queen of hearts not the queen of wonderland. So in case you're confused because Cora was usually the queen. She was only the Queen of hearts while Anastasia was the queen of wonderland itself. Sorry for the spoilers but I don't know if you're going to react to that show anyway so I'll just say it. Also why didn't you finish episode 8. You only react to half of the episode. The episode is two episodes long in the stream service probably couldn't have but episode 8 and 9 are the same episode it's just cut in half. It's not meant to be two separate episodes.
