You either have it, or you don't. Lucky man. In turn she has a hardworking man, with second hand nature woodworking or landscaping skills that men would kill to have. I rarely watch shorts, but that is how I found this channel, so i guess they're not all bad. I saw the neighbor's mailbox a few days ago, and today, the free $600 walkway. The altruism, and work ethic, are obviously attention grabbing, but the work itself can't be understated. Simple, crisp elegance. That's what compelled me to subscribe. I'd really like to see more long form videos, with you getting into more of your planning, and design process. The random edge of the grass line, for instance. It came out perfect. I realize you just spray painted a line, but I noticed you made a few corrections before the digging began. Getting that right is probably the most difficult part, especially for people taking this on for the first time. The hard work almost means nothing if you're not picking the right shapes, and don't know how to lay out smooth tangent lines to connect them all together. Also, crossing the pavement walkway, and definitely circling the palm (shout out to Mrs. Jhonn), adds that kind of professional pop everybody wants, without even realizing it. It adds more work, so people will use that as an excuse to talk them out of going that extra mile, and then wonder what's missing in their final result. The thing is, as you're obviously aware, it's never going to take less work than it does when you're doing at the same time as the rest of the project, so save yourself time, and do it now. It's those kind of insights that really only come out in longer form videos... and comments, I guess.

Fantastic job!! Tip, take a box cutter and cut X in the landscape fabric then dig hole under, place "flaps" back, trim so doesn't touch plant. 2 (I'm in FL) a hole like that is usually started by something else, bird, caterpillar, then the ants come.

Hey, this’ll make your wife happy. Get rid of the ants in her garden beds by getting a mason jar, then put sugar and borax in it with a little water. Put the lid on and shake it all up then poke holes in the lid and then just place the jars on their side in the gardens. The ants will go in and eat the sugar and borax and then die. It’ll take two days and the entire colony will die.

I don't know if it's me. Or you guys just totally made this landscaping project look extremely easy. We recently bought our home with a little bit of land and we are on a hill or slope you can say. It's been really hard for me trying to articulate what I want to do with our garden i'm trying to start and many other projects and I just could not figure out how I was going to do. This has tremendously helped me get a little foot in the door so to speak on the steps, I can take creating my perfect garden and doing my landscape! Thanks soo much! Get a worm bed! Make some “black gold” & make a spray from that. There are videos on yt to make the spray. You need a 5 gallon bucket from home depot & a small water pump like for a fish tank to oxidize the concoction. It is a NATURAL pesticide & will make your vegetation BEAUTIFUL! Larger, brighter colors, sweeter fruit….the whole nine! Please don’t spray chemicals on your beautiful garden! Hope this helps.
