My ex best friend has had an ED for years. He's in recovery but is prone to relapses every now and then, which is totally normal for someone who's recovering. I'd send this to him but we don't talk anymore. I wish he somehow comes across it. Thanks for sharing your experience and putting a pro-food message out there for all of us. Keep it up! Recovery isn't a smooth journey, it's a rollercoaster full of ups and downs and bumps along the way - but you will get there. Sending good vibes your way x

I have an eating disorder and though it’s not body related your channel helps me so much. I love how you remind yourself that the food is fuel and you need to eat, honestly I’ve never really seen anyone else say affirmations in their videos but I love that you do it. It helps me so much. And how you don’t cut out parts where you are struggling/anxious when eating. Every time I see eating disorder content no one ever shows the struggling while eating and it makes me feel like crap about myself because everyone else can do it so easily but I can’t. Your authenticity and kindness shines so bright, please know you are loved and such a great person 🩷

My past with dieting because I'm overweight also leads me to be a little mentally obsessed with categorizing foods as "bad" and "good", but honestly: as much as food is first and foremost nutrition and energy to your body, it's okay to enjoy food just for the sake of that it tastes good. I wish you the absolute best on your journey, you're doing great! (And i mean that even though I can't know what happens behind the screen, but the mindests you display here, the concious decision to aknowledge your "happiness over no sauce" as a problem and then putting sauce on is impressive. That's some serious self reflection!♥)

Watching the smile come across your face as you realize you're facing those fear foods, made me tear up. A person in my life made me feel horrible for eating when my body was hungry. I got scolded for eating "extra". Now as I have a little freedom in my life, I realized that my body size is just my body size. I may be bigger, but my it's not because I overeat. It's because I'm happy now and enjoy my food. I lost so much weight when I was sad and afraid to eat. Now I'm back to being a little happier and gaining back weight. Which I didn't like at first. But I remembered that God wants me this way. It's not bad to eat when your body is telling you it needs food. I'm so proud of you!
