I am looking into getting these for my hiusband but there os so much different brands that we are confused in which one is good or not! We have tried a Berberine but it does not help in lowering B Sugar at all. Thankyou in advance!

@@NansGlobalKitchen Try sugarmd super berberine they use a more absorbable version. I get my D3 10,000IUs, K2 100mcg, and sometimes Organic Ceylon Cinnamon from Walmart. The Berberine, Alpha Lipoic Acid and Vitamin B1 (benfotiamine ) I get from Purebulk Supplements, in powder form. Off and on I buy Organic Ceylon Cinnamon Extract off of Amazon. Briggs Organic Apple Cider Vinegar from local supermarket. I can't speak on how well or not they are helping my sugar levels as I am now just getting new blood work this week. But my weight has dropped from 228lbs down to 216lbs within about two months.

I now walk 60 mins / 3 miles per day & sprinkle nutritional yeast on my meals. I lost 20 pounds in 5 months. I have 70 more to loose but it's a good start. Just do it people ! It's hard at first but you'll feel better and it becomes easy, even addicting. Not bad right ? Thank you sugar Md

Hello all, the body uses about 1 teaspoon of sugar per hour ( and roughly 5 carbs is equal to a teaspoon of sugar ) so 1 piece of white bread has about 5.2 teaspoons of sugar and a bowl of brown rice has 9 teaspoons of sugar !! this is why were all so ill , the ignorance is killing us!

I was born into a diabetic family. I think insulin was a problem when my parents were having kids. Both had tummies when we were babies. My younger brother and I have battled weight on off all our lives. Lost 70+ pounds at 15. Now 39 need almost 50 pounds to lose from stress. I exercise all the time. Since a teenager use to do laps in our pool. Biking 🚴 too.

Sugar is sugar. Just don't do it. Get all the sugar out of the house. It's like an alcoholic who stashes s bottle of alcohol somewhere in the house. The way I do it is just to enjoy a sweet treat like jam when I am at a restaurant, or some place away from home on an occasional basis and in small amounts.

Easy with the carbs. Carbs cause the body to secrete insulin. Insulin is the storage hormone. Better off eating fewer carbs ...even occasionally going no carb. Reduction of insulin is the key to weight loss. Exercise mainly strengthens and tones muscles. It won't cause weight loss.

I have lived with diabetes for over three decades, I don’t smoke nor drink, regular walking 🚶♂️ 10,000 steps a day. What I need to do is cut down on food portions, add vitamin D in my diet. How about sunbathing instead of Vitamin D supplements?.
@SK-me9by2 жыл бұрын
Just don't over do the sunlight as you know. But, we all need the sun to do it's job however thanks to a thinner ozone layer this is where problems of bad UV comes into play.
@wintersprite2 жыл бұрын
Also depends on your hair color. Supposedly redheads (like me) don’t absorb vitamin D from sun well. I have read that we can make our own in low-level light though which is interesting. I take vitamin D supplements as well as magnesium.

I enjoy your channel and have learned a lot. However i will tell you that personally i have NEVER heard any doctor that I've been to for myself or a family member use the term "insulin resistent". "always consult discuss with your doctor's ...." What doctors do you always refer to? Why do you think doctors will help us? Why should we bother viewing your presentation when we can get this same info from discussing with all these doctors? The info is a great help but it is obvious many doctors do not know as much as you about the dangers of diabetes. Thank you.

Some doctors do know that low carb diets can help. I have Pre-Diabetes and my PCP recommended a low carb diet and intermittent fasting to me. I did add Metformin, however I had brought it up and figured I might have a hard time around the holidays with all of the tempting treats, so decided to try it along with adapting to the low carb and IF. Now I’m also trying gluten free again as I’m not sure if I have a sensitivity to it.
