Foam means air is introduced, air can come into the sysem only on suction side, otherwise It will just spray the fluid outside. So, yes... That limits the problem to that only hose and its connection points.

Belt looks perfect- that tension is all regulated by the tensioner anyway. Also that PTFE hose is designed for AN fittings only. Then the leak you had with the new hose was because the worm clamp is too big. Anyway great video as always!

We learn a lot about PTFE soon!

Not sure if I'm too late but usually that whine from power steering is the high pressure line has a clog or is narrowed from internal failure.

Danny there was a recall for the power steering O-ring which caused the winning noise, I changed it on mine and it cured the wine almost entirely and just did a oil changed.

About that power steering problem, I am not an expert in that matter, but is it possible, that changing OEM pully to smaller makes the pump run so much faster that it causing oil cavitation? That will explain that foam and "cat being torture" noises. Just loud thought of mine. Maybe try running PS with oem pully size just for test and see what happens
@dannyDC226 күн бұрын
It’s an interesting theory. I was thinking all sorts. Until I found the problem…

Slow. But handy. M18 one better but bulky. Bigger dewalt one also good (and inflated air beds)

If you'd measured that pulley and said "centimetres" like some sort of BBC kids programme presenter I'd have just clicked off of the video like a pedantic child 😂. Thankfully you took the adults working class choice of "Mil" Good video xxx
