To answer your question, it is very rare for a rain forest to get above 34 C. So you more or less did leave those animals to bake in an incredibly, uncommonly hot rain forest.

where did you get this information from? i am just curious because when i was in the amazonas it definitely was around 40 degrees in dry season. For rainy season it definitely cooled down but it was still over 30 on the daily basis

A tip for the bears: Their food is just the beehive, not the flower fields. You can just plop a couple of hives in the forests to keep them happy, don’t worry about the red numbers

'Ideal': Each type of ecosystem terrain has parameters where it flourishes. You check the machine that makes the terrain in question for what the terrain likes. In the temperate ecosystem, it's a window of humidity. For others it's temperature and/or humidity. I like getting ideal terrain because it gives you cooler looking graphics

I understand completely about how this is a game you can come back to every once in a while. It's wholesome in meaningful way, I guess? Bringing life back to desolate plane, and the new update is huge too... And it actually is that hot in rainforest, like here in indonesia... average year-round temperature is like 29'C to 35'C at the sea level cities, and hotter in the thick rainforest areas... thanks for replaying, Wander. I need to replay it myself as soon as i got the time...

The fynbos is from Afrikaans and pronounced a little differently. The "fyn" part is pronounced like feign i.e. feigning interest in something while the "bo" part of the "bos" sounds like the first part of the word body. Often translated as "fine bush" instead of the more literal "Fine Forest" it's used to describe a small belt of natural shrubland or heathland vegetation located in the Western Cape and Eastern Cape provinces of South Africa. This area is predominantly coastal and mountainous, with a Mediterranean climate and rainy winters.

"Small belt" is a bit misleading because the fynbos is almost through the entirety of the Western Cape and a large portion of the Eastern Cape.

It’s an amazing plant kingdom! And yes it’s a Kingdom, much like Mediterranean or jungle or desert are plant kingdoms. For spanning such a small area it sports an incredible diversity in plants, with thousands of endemic species. It has even been claimed to have more individual plant species than the lush jungles of South America. I love it and I’m sooooo happy to see it represented in this game!

This is such a relaxing play through! I love the sound effects. The music gives off zelda vibes and the sound effects resemble this switch game I played like a year ago called Wytchwood😊

I would love to see a mode in this where you select or even create yourself some sort of archetype or tool set and do certain challenges with different sets of equipment. maybe per level three different difficulty challenges, trying to get away with less and less tech to begin with.
