I really like this. Personally , I wish more watches exclude the day/date and follow this trend. Drilled lugs, perfect size, smart looking dial. I agree with strap. I'd change to a black strap to make the dial pop even more. I'm also glad to see the Miyota movement. My miyota is extremely accurate....and despite the claims of others. It's no louder than an NH35 or 36. Impressive watch and nice honest review as always!

​@@PerthWAtch I like it , but not more than what I already have. I think they are doing everything right and heading towards the right direction. One of my favorite watches is a watch without the date window my son made for me. He's become an enthusiast too, and builds as a hobby. I've been into watches for 35 years., before it was a "thing" and am glad to see the age of obnoxious huge watches going wayside. While I like automatics, I prefer my Eco-drive and Casio solar analog watches that just run with little fuss. I do plan on showing my son this through, since he's really into automatics.

Thanks for the great review of a very cool watch. Imho, the case style & shape are perfectly fine, and the 39mm size is an excellent choice. Love the dial, handset, and hour markers, especially the triangle-shaped indices. Gives a directional, compass-like vibe, which is visually pleasing. Winning watch. Hope they keep all of the design cues intact going from prototype to actual production.

A very nice looking watch, a date could have sat at 6 pretty unobtrusively making it a useful daily watch, and that strap would have to go. A bit expensive considering it would only be an occassional wear.
