Thank you. One of those unfortunate things we have to deal with from time to time. And I get a lot of calls asking if I have a video on fixing something on a Butler 😁

I love it when people make videos on how to do something that 99.998% of the audience will never have to do, and that the people who might actually have to do already know how to do. I'm glad you keep repeating that bypassing limit switches is an emergency thing that you only do in order to complete the job. Safety switches are called that for a reason.

Thanks. I think I'm going to have to start a different channel for this kind of content actually. My channel was known for this kind of content a long time ago. But the channel has definitely changed to more Vlog cleaning. Thanks for watching though, but definitely need to make something new in a 2nd channel 😊

Great Informative video! You have to replace the Entire Switch Assembly? Ive got a slide in and can replace the solenoid located inside switch. *btw for a complete clean/flush of the descale process i used a 9PH cleaner for final step and was Clean!!
@MarkSaiger4 ай бұрын
Thanks our switches are not rebuildable, but they are only about $38 for the entire unit 😊

I would add wire and move the plug up where you can get to it.
@MarkSaiger4 ай бұрын
I think on the newer ones Butler might have done that also. I did not want to clip into the wires and keep it original as I could. But not a bad idea to be honest 😊

@@MarkSaiger you can make a plug with a jumper wire on it and just plug it in.

@@MarkSaiger Cleaned carpets for 20 years, been out of the business for almost 10 years now. Prochem's machines were always good to me. The Performer 405 should be in the carpet machine hall of fame if there is one 😀
