That arch is looking beautiful! Well done! 👏👏 And what a gorgeous large room.. Is that perhaps going to be Le Grand salon? I love the staircase in the room. And how far in the timeline are we now? Is that spring 2024? Noah is a little charmer ❤

Thank you ☺️ Yes, the Grand Salon. 🫣 this is possibly not the time to mention that we plan to remove the oak staircase then… we are thinking to replace it with a stone staircase… which we think will be more in keeping with the character of the chateau. Yes, mid-March. Although we are having to skip over some of the projects until they air on TV in January.

@@thechateauadventures Hahaha! Nooo!! 🫣😉 Well even though I think that the staircase is pretty old and authentic you may be right that a stone one could fit the chateau better. You know the house best. I`ve only seen the room briefly as the camera passed by 😉 But I really do like it 😉 Maybe it can be reused somewhere else 😄

@@irenes.vestergaard357 Now might also not be the time to mention, that Nicole and Curt may have already re-purposed some of the wooden bannister... One for a future episode! if we can reuse it somewhere we definitely will though. Fingers crossed, our stone staircase idea pans out as we hope 😶

There have been no gingerbread delights made as of yet! I shall raise this with Nicole! 🙄 when we’re in Sweden we do decorate the gingerbread houses though ☺️
