Dexter is such a cutie and so inspirational. That kinda attitude is just instinctual in animals. They don't cry and feel sorry for themselves. They just try to figure out a way for them to overcome whatever obstacle is standing in their way and they get it done. Us humans are like that too eventually. It takes a while for us to get it done though.

Absolutely amazing but not surprised at Dexter's resiliance. We have an energetic Brittany that was badly mauled by a neighbor's Rottweiler. Almost lost her. But the vet got her stitched up, we nursed back to health and now she's her active self. This one made me stop what I was doing, go downstairs, and give her a tummy rub.

Oh, this is wonderful. I'm looking at his style of walking, as their hind legs are not like a human's legs. My only gripe is the man on the video calling it "absurdity." I don't think this is one bit "absurd." I think it's how this dog copes with his handicap in a marvelous way.

Just want Dexter's owner to know I just love everything this dog 'stands' for !!! What a precious furbaby who is the epitome of inspiration for those who want to get back up on their feet :-))) I am wondering if the owner has consulted with a Veterinarian & surgeons related to amputating his remaining front limb?! It just seems if it were amputated Dextor would have more ease of movement & more coordination.(I noted the leg flopping)

Remember if you can't walk on the cement because it's to hot for your bare feet then it's the same for your doggie. Especially if no grass around to cool the pads off

My one concern is, if walking on his back legs becomes a health issue or causes spinal damage or hip problems please don't allow Dextor to walk upright .please use the wheel support method as his only mobility. I want Dextor to have a long life & pain free life.
