Christian Sierra it's a bit hard to get used to if you fight professionally though. I remember my first karate tournament and it's harder to breath and let out the 'karate scream' as you may call it. So it really drained me dry, stamina-wise, until I got used to it

This is bollucks I'm an amateur boxer and the mouth piece has one purpose which is to help keep your teeth. The mouth guard is uncomfortable and makes it harder to breathe hence why it gets taken out between rounds. I can understand how an average joe would mentally gain confidence in wearing one, not been used to it but that's about it.

Between punchers chance (only worried me about 5%, when ur decent and they are pure lifter, they don't know how to throw) going to jail, getting blood on me for my date with a cute girl who just graduated (explain, i got in a fight in the bathroom, to any intelligent, self-respecting, wholesome woman who comes from a good family), did i mention jail? oya and when ur a properly trained adult, any can die from one shot going through court processes is the most life stalling shit in the world, you don't 100% know the outcome, if u care about ur future, u have to spend stupid amounts on JUST the laweyer let alone a settlement possibility, work hours missed, gas to court houses and your laweyers spanning 3diff cities. long story short, i've never thrown the first punch (once but we both had agree'd to fight, something i didn't want to do), and if i can, i get out of there, i felt really good about it way later, but at the time i was raging (was a HOT HEAD when i was younger), i swear there's karma, ying&yang shit at play there He even came over later to try beta me and shake my hand with a smug look on his face, i smiled right back, while he tried squeezing the life out of my hand, i started crushing his, then realized that's not me, and i'm not gonna start a fight while somebodies already got my hand, i let up on my grip, 'wait for him to jump after the handshake' later his girl was yelling at him in the parking lot still arguing when we left 15min later, and i had slammed my date against her car, making out, before i went back to mine

The story got me depressed. Reminded me of the sad fights that would break out among my colleagues for no good reason. All I ever wanted was for people to be safe and enjoy their time together before we all parted ways. Even as a teenager the ways in which kids divided themselves just felt so stupid and needless. But it's not like you can ever stop it. I always hear about how people regret the mistakes they made as a kid. And I always remember being a kid myself and seeing those mistakes for what they were. I stood up to a lot of jumps, to show them I was more thorough than any of them. I made sure to do damage, then I denied all damage done to me, if I could, and if not I'd still downplay it and act like I ain't learn nothing at all. Go the same way tomorrow by myself and all that. Back in high school I used to get into tons of fights, won and lost some but as an ADULT I got way too much to lose to get myself into any altercations on the street. More than often street fights are not fair, people will pull out weapons. I knew someone I went to high school with who lost their life fighting 2 guys on the street, one of the punks pulled out a gun and killed him, he also had a kid too, that child’s gonna grow up without a father now because he couldn’t walk away from something not worth it. If you gotta fight to defend yourself than do so but I believe 8 or 9 times out of ten the fight can be avoided.

Yusuf Özdemir doesn’t matter people are real quick to pull out weapons in a street fight. Even in high school a kid was expelled and arrested after pulling a knife out on the person he was fighting. Only time I think it’s acceptable to fight is to defend yourself and even if you win be wary of the consequences. I’m an adult I can’t afford to get arrested. Back in high school yes but now no. It took me growing up realizing all those fights I’d been in high school could of been avoided because I didn’t have to prove sh*t to anyone. My advice to anyone especially teenagers, take boxing or mma type of classes, learn to fight so you never have to. Learn to let go of your ego/pride. Learn to be mentally strong. Yusuf Özdemir in my experience both parties are gonna be at fault, my advice is not to start anything. If he hits you then of course do what you need to do to defend yourself. If you’re strong enough to walk away that would honestly be the best option. I know it’s hard because you’re in high school but ask yourself why do you need to fight this person if they haven’t hit you?
